I don't put much stock in pre season rankings. Especially this year considering Hurons Jah Leh who hasn't played since he was a freshman is out for basketball. In middle school Jah was thought by many to be the next star for Huron on the hardwood before giving up basketball to focus on football and track for a few years. Two of my close associates in the college basketball scouting world Chip Simmons (USC) and Larry Templeton (Louisville) have expressed their interest to me in coming to Jah play. Let's hope he stays off p. I. $ s and can produce for the Tigers this year. Go Tigers Jah Leh is enjoying his time at Margaretta just as well as you are enjoying your time at the stables. Do you and Beth have enough hay to lay on for the winter?

Margaretta goes to Huron and handles them without issue. Another average Huron team. Surprised by Perkins//Bellevue result as well

I can't understand why Huron wouldn't foul, down by 8 or so, with a minute+ left. Instead, the Tigers played defense, And watched the Bears run the clock down. I don't get why time management at the end of the game, was so bad for the Tigers. I'm quite disinterested on what I've been watching.

Questionable game management down the stretch for the Tigers. Spicer was on fire for the polar bears he finished with 31 points. Huron really needs Jah Leh back in the fold to put themselves back in contention for a league title and possible state championship birth.

There are some coaches who think an 8 point loss will look better than a 15 point loss if they foul and foul down the stretch

Butts?? I see a lot of them in bikini bottoms on the beach at my summer place on Lake Michigan. You're gay? Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Stop tigger

Go tigers Hey Mike, how are you handling that loss that Jah Leh's Margaretta Polar Bears dealt to your Tigers? Dump must be insufferable over there in Castalia. Speaking of butts, we know you are the one with the most quality time with that *** in the stables. At least you are helping to keep the homeless off the streets with that gesture.

As far as Saturday's game, yes it was a tough loss for the good guys. Tip your hat to Spicer that guy can score from all over the floor. I think once Huron gets Jah back they will be an entirely different team so I'm not to worried about a few early season losses without their best player. Go Tigers

Go Tigers If Huron gets Jah back they will have to have him sit out for the duration of the season if it isn't a legitimate transfer from Margaretta. I'm foggy on the details but I can assure you that would be the case.

I don't get it. In the past 6 varsity seasons Jah can only be counted on to play on average one game a year. And then only under false pretenses

Sailors stay undefeated in the Bay with a 53-50 wire-to-wire nail biter win over Oak Harbor. Vermilion grinds it out despite an ice cold night from 3PT range, going 1-12 while OH was 9-21 from deep. Another road game Saturday at Bellevue.

From willard just wondering about oak harbor. I remember the Alexander kid from last year who else and are they big ,thanx for any info. Oak harbors harbors line up is Alexander , schulte , booker, wilkins , and hoy. There tallest starter is 6’2 and has a 6’4 kid come off the bench , no true post. Sounds alarming but sitting 3-2 with losses to huron on a very poor shooting night and a tight game with vermillion that came down to alexander losing the ball while holding for the last shot tied at 50-50 then giving up an And 1 on the break. booker may not play the whole season as he is a transfer from put in bay , as a sophomore he hit 6 threes and had 24 points against old fort.

Thanx. Should be a good one at willard. Willard has size.6'7 and 6'6 with athleticism but just haven't been able to put it all together. Lost at Margaretta by one but should of won the ga me by double digits. Does oak harbor push the ball or a more deliberate approach.

I read this and thought to myself, “why are Elyria and Lorain playing each other in a holiday tournament?” I didn’t realize they were in different conferences. Interesting

sailors likely to run away with this div margaretta and willard are not to distant though So far Margaretta has proven to be very average and Willard has done nothing with 3 wins over bad teams.
