7th grade Ontario 33, Lex 0 8th grade Ontario 42, Lex 14 For those that were against Lex joining the MOAC, rethink your position. I’m not saying I am for against Lex in the MOAC but I highly doubt middle school football was the reason the decision makers voted against them.

7th grade Ontario 33, Lex 0 8th grade Ontario 42, Lex 14 For those that were against Lex joining the MOAC, rethink your position. How did Miller do? He only carried the ball 4 times, 3 were for TDs, the rest of the game he was handing the ball off. They played him some at WR. His first play there he was wide open in the end zone, but the 2nd team QB over threw him. After that he was used as a decoy on several plays. He completed a couple of nice passes. He also threw a couple of 30 yard passes with ease, but into coverage, one was intercepted. On a couple of short passes, he didn't step into the throw, thus they were under thrown.

Agree, what they saw was Cade Stover playing football and basketball for 4 years

Shelby 7th grade won 12-6, offense made way too many mistakes, won the game in the last 20 seconds on hail Mary, other touchdown was a strip from punter that was ran in for a TD

7th grade
Ontario 28, Madison 14. Madison scored their TDs on a long pass and run on the first play of their first possession and a hook and ladder with 30 seconds remaining in the first half. Other than those 2 plays they couldn't do much. Ontario scored on 3 long drives and a 30 yard INT returned for a TD by Miller. He also scored 2 of the other 3 TDs.

Shelby has river valley this week @ home, never played them before should be interesting they are retooling the 7th grade defense, their best defensive person hadn't played a down of defense in practice or scrimmage, because these are different coaches didnt know about him, put him in the last quarter of the game and he had 10 tackles, qb sack and fumble recovery in 3 series of defense

JJ Watt no, but he will have just as much of an impact this week against river valley and against Ontario in 2 weeks..just saying, he has every year

How in the heck did a coach of any worth not recognize that he had the best LB in the history of Shelby football on his team until after a month of practices and 2 games?
IMO, one new starter on defense can hardly be called a "retooling", regardless of how good he is.
By looking at reported Shelby scores, defense has not been a problem.

IMO, one new starter on defense can hardly be called a "retooling" of a defense. He disrupts the backfield every play,no other team members are close to that, Definitely not the best in history, but I think when it is all said and done he will go down as a good one. He is fastest kid on the 7th grade team, and pretty good size too

AGAIN, how in the heck did a coach of any worth not see these unbelievable qualities? That's a good question He didnt even play on defense in the scrimmage, used him on offense at the V position, its actually pretty shocking

7th grade whippets Shelby 16 River Valley 12
Offense had a couple of long td throws for scores and 2 pt conversions, defensively a solid outting....gave up 2 big plays and penalties cost them more than anything on both sides of the ball, but they got a few other people involved in offense to change things up
Up next is clearfork

Both 7th and 8th Grade Grant(Harding)lost to Clearfork. 8th grade lost 30-14. Clearforks 7th grade was huge with some pretty good athletes and won big. Their 8th grade plays hard, very well coached and play as a team. Grants 8th grade after putting up 40 on Findlay got smacked in the mouth and shutdown. Grants has some really good athletes and the QB is probably the best in the league but no oline. You can say it mimics the high school.
