Grant 7th grade lost to Ontario 12-6 Grant 8th grade lost 38-28 after leading 14-0 at halftime. #24 for Ontario was the difference in the 2nd half. Grant shut him down in 1st half. They moved him to wildcat QB in the 2nd and he ran all over Grant. Grants QB is very good he threw for well over 300yds and 4 td’s but a pick 6 and a blocked punt for a TD sealed the win for Ontario.

Like literally the fastest on the field?

The 1st half grant gang tackled, 2nd half they became spectators. Ontario scored 38 points in the 2nd half. #23 was a tall black kid very athletic but was non existent. You stop 24 and you win the game. Hopefully grant can get back on track vs Pleasant this week.

He could become the best TB Ontario has had since State Meet Pole Vault champ Jamey Robson 10 years ago. It wouldn't surprise me to see both Studer and Bodpegn as varsity starters in 2 years. #23 would be "existent" if Ontario had a passing attack. More of a TE than WR, but Ontario doesn't use a TE in their offense. The successes of the 7th and 8th grade teams this year has a lot to do with their O-lines. Each class has a half dozen good sized athletic linemen, something that's been in short supply of late.

7th grade shelby lose 20-0 to Ontario, shelby having a tough time on offensive line, running back cant hold onto the ball, and qb has not played well all year, also several starters out this week due to suspension and injury.
Miller had a couple of decent runs, but it wasnt a lopsided one man show like in 5th and 6th grade, the team is getting better around him...which is good to see for Ontario

Hard to hang on to the ball when 4 Ontario guys are in the backfield each play. I bet Shelby had minus 50 yards total offense,
I was not impressed with the Miller kid on offense. Thought he was much better on defense
8th grade Ontario 20 Shelby 14
Studer ran well, best player on the field. Reminds me of Owen Fisher Both defenses played well, Shelby couldn’t do anything offensively in the second half. Threw a couple ints

The 7th grade line has been pretty rough all year, if they cant get things figured out...it will be a rough rest of the season...just saying

7th Grade Grant Beat Galion 26-6 I believe. 8th Grade Grant lost 38-0 to Galion. I heard people talking about how big Galions 8th grade line was and that was not a lie..OMG. Future looks good in Tiger land. I also noticed the 5 kids in street clothes for Grant on the sideline. Grant only dressed 13 kids. 13 is OK if it’s the right 13

Shelby 7th grade beat Grant 36-12 ]Shelby 8th grade won 42-30. Pleasant has some really nice skilled players, especially QB and RB. Looked like they had only one player in street clothes, Shelby RB is a stud.

Miscues by Grant cost them big time in the 4th qtr but spot on play calls by Shelby helped the cause. Anyone heard how the Shelby kid is that got carted off. Any update on that young man would be appreciated. Grant was still shorthanded; #1 receiver and 2 linemen didn’t play due to injury.

I’m not sure of specifics, but he went to tackle the RB and something in his neck ‘popped’. He was moving legs/arms, but as precautionary measures, carted him off on stretcher and took him for MRI. Thankfully came back negative
