Thought I'd start a thread here where it belongs. Tall order Thursday night for the Rams. Shawnee is pretty tough.

New here, thanks for having me. Good luck to the Rams! Just want to put it out there that Shawnee beat two other regional teams by 14 this year. Lima Senior(D1) and OG(D3). But that's why they play the game...See you all at the Stroh.

Especially a High School game. Upper won’t roll over... they may not win but they will play hard as they have all season. Shawnee is really good. Absolutely they have a great team and some really solid wins!! Anyone pick Norwalk to win the State Championship a few years ago? Several teams were suppose to easily beat them on their way to Columbus. Upper missing 2 senior starters and a key senior sub definitely hurts them... but no one gave them much chance to win Districts. Hope it is a good game.

I thought this thread was a discussion of the 2 teams, I never suggested a forfeit, even stated its why they play the games. It't why high school basketball is so great, no outcomes are locked down. If I implied otherwise I am sorry. I hope its a great game, who wants to watch a blow out in a regional semi? Good luck to both teams.

Did Shawnee's other opponent's roll over or not show up?
Norwalk was highly thought of. Their one loss was an upset that stopped a 50 something regular season win streak. They had 2 DI quality players on the team, does Upper?
Upper has beaten 3 sound, but nothing special teams in the tournament. Considering their personnel issues, they've over come a lot. Shawnee is a different animal. I'm rooting for Upper, to add to their "Hoosier" like story.

Innocent post put out there by CW and you try to make something out of it. What a tool you are. Relish your Royals mediocre season this year, cause it's all downhill from here for the Wynford faithful.

Just giving you back a little taste... Obviously “HumblePie” is not popular in Willard. Let your teams actions speak louder then your printed words!!! Hate to burst you bubble... but 2018-19 team was always going to be a much better team then this seasons team. That same team from 18-19 beats CC by 15+.

What adjective would you give to DI players, since you describe Upper players as "great"?

I see Shawnee winning this game, They're good. Would like to see Upper, Pull off the upset, And open Division 2 for everyone else to win. Otherwise hand the trophy to Shawnee this year.

OHSAA put out a press release. There will be a sudden explosion in the numbers of assistant trainers, assistant cheerleader advisors, snack bar workers and security personnel..............................................and the occasional "half-brother". OHSAA press release said only essential personnel and parents. TV is not essential, cheerleaders are not essential, snack bar is not essential, not much security will be needed, no ticket sellers needed. Tickets already handed out for the State Tournament won't be usable, worthless to resell.

What adjective would you give to DI players, since you describe Upper players as "great"? What adjective would you give D2 players then what adjectives would you give d1 players "Great" high school players play at DI colleges. I can't think of higher praise than "great". College players making it to the NBA would be the "greatest". Gotta come up with something lesser than "great" for players going on to play at the DII level. Do you know for certain Upper players will be playing at a DII school next year? Maybe.... supercalifraglisticexpialidocious for Upper players that might play DII basketball.

You're really starting to be annoying. Innocent post put out there by CW and you try to make something out of it. What a tool you are. Relish your Royals mediocre season this year, cause it's all downhill from here for the Wynford faithful. Many of you Willardites were a little annoying yourselves most of the season on this site. I dont think too many people would argue with 18/19 being better than 19/20. Its irrelevant to this conversation however. The good thing is, we always have next year to look forward to. Whereas Wynford can always look forward to the Crawford County Fair this summer.

The thing that kinda stands out to me on this site is how casually people throw out ,,,"oh he's a D2 player" Meaning they're too good for D3. Ben Haraway was D2. There is no one on Upper as good as Ben. I rest my case. If someone has an offer,,then I stand corrected. Lot's of parents think they have an offer because they have a school send a letter--hence,,"they are recruiting my son" No, sorry,,doesn't mean that.
Tripplet and Polacheck,,,we didn't quite replace what they brought last year.

AND I firming believe Ben could have played for a DI MAC school if he chose to. Had more fun playing from day one at Ashland U.
