Per guidelines. No more than one player can touch a football unless it is disinfected first. Which means no Center snapping it to a QB, no QB handing off to a RB and no QB passing to a receiver. No more than 10 players working out in a group. Players and coaches temps to be taken before practice. Players to change and shower at home. I think plus skill training only beside lifting and 6' social distance.

With the Gov announcing there will be school in the fall, I feel very good about being at the football field on Friday nights in 3 months.

I am pretty sure he said that is the "goal". No one knows where this is headed and especially when summer fades to fall. Could be in/out a few times throughout a school year which would start/stop many sports.

The goal was to flatten the cureve and we did. The goal was to close business to create social distance and we did. The goal was to open up slowly and we did. The goal was to start sports up slowly and we did. I like the goals.
Numbers are declining even with people being out and about. Do the images of the protests give you the idea people are concerned?

There is good reason to believe the fall/winter could be problematic with open/close, start/stop of schools and sports.

If they are playing, I believe parents will be able to attend.

There is good reason to believe the fall/winter could be problematic with open/close, start/stop of schools and sports. In the Ohsaa's plan for reopening phases they discuss keeping kids in small groups. If a kid does get sick that small group can be sent home and the rest of practice can go one. Their is good reason to believe based on Ohio numbers since reopening began on May 15 that we could have a full fall and winter season.

Here is the deal...IF football is allowed to be played this year in Ohio, then you will be able to attend the game. I'm not sure what guidelines they might ask of you, but if 40-100 kids can get in a group and hit and tackle and play the game of football, then people will be able to sit in the stands.

Any chance high school football crowds are limited too? Maybe each player/coach gets four tickets? Each get two tickets?
What about marching bands? Could we see a season without marching bands?

There’s always a chance, but I feel as we go longer and learn more we will get closer and closer to life before.

Assuming there will be Football, I believe at the very least immediate family members will be able to attend.

I don’t see any way a plan for limited attendance can be sustained or even would make any sense.

I don’t see any way a plan for limited attendance can be sustained or even would make any sense. Opening zoos, amusement parks and water parks, we can surely allow a couple hundred people in stands at a football game. There is no doubt in my mind that fans will be able to attend, unless a second wave of this virus hits schools and the country hard, then not only will football be cancelled but school may be back to what we had this past spring. They are saying 100 million doses of vaccine will be ready by end of the year, that's going to the elderly first, i'm sure.

Only if there are 4 empty seats between each individual and 3 empty rows between each row used and 6 feet between every person standing at the fence around the football field.

The more tests given, the more cases of the virus will be detected. Which means Ohio will climb on the list of most cases of Covid-19, that's seen on TV every say. Dewine does not want to see Ohio pass other states on that list. Around my neck of the woods they call that smoke and mirrors. You see a lot of that at every level right now though.

I think as we get further along with this you will see more authority given to local health departments and governments. As long as your good with your local health department you should be fine. Trust me when I say things around here are a lot different then some parts of the state.

People are gonna be people. Safety protocols can be put into places as safeguards everywhere but it will ultimately be up to others to decide how they will proceed. Happening now across our state. If you're playing the contact sport of football, you can be sure parents will be in attendance with the expectation they're social distancing but the health commissioners aren't going to be coming to the game to enforce any mandates. We will all need to protect our individual selves.

If Ohio state is going to cut their attentence in half then HS will also. On the band playing I know band people think there is a football game just so the band can play but I for one think we can do without the band and just play the game.

College football will announce attendance cuts but in reality there will already be an amount of fans that will not be looking for tickets this season because of their own fears. It is easier for colleges to announce cuts than to have the seats half empty because nobody wants to be there.

Your wrong, If Ohio State had a game tomorrow the stadium would full and scalpers out selling. There thousands of people that want tickets and can't ever get them.

A game with no band and no cheerleaders feels like a scrimmage. Atmosphere at football games is a HUGE draw. The majority of people barely watch the game. The best coaches understand how important all the environmental factors are Friday night in HS and Saturday in college.

Ohio State AD Gene Smith has said that at most 50k tickets will be sold, but more likely closer to 20K.

Wrong, in the case of Ohio State. 87% of season tickets have been renewed, BUT that does not mean all will be granted, due to reduced attendance requirements at Ohio State.

Renew or never get them back - Many people have season tickets and only attend a few if any games.
