Is Ross/Sandusky a GO or NO??? If you look at both schools schedules at Joe Eitels website you'll see the game still listed. Additionally it's still listed as scheduled on the Ross athletic department website. From today's Ross-AW game story in The N-M, here is what Coach Chad Long said...... "My whole career we haven't been better than .500. We're 5-5 going into Sandusky and we want it to be 6-5. We're set up to do something better." From today's Register story on the Sandusky-Ridgeville game.... "Sandusky finishes its season next Friday at home against rival Fremont Ross. The high-scoring Little Giants are 5-5 after a 26-20 win Friday over Anthony Wayne. Ross, which will be Sandusky's second straight Division II opponent, is averaging 36 points per game this season." The Little Giants are scheduled to visit Sandusky next week to extend the second-longest running rivalry in Ohio. Even during a pandemic. Seems like there will be a Ross-Sandusky game.

OHSAA says the only way a team can play more than 10 games is if they are still in the playoffs. Again, you can play 10 regular-season games PLUS the playoffs. Ask Willard. The memo was misread on my end. I was reading under the platform of a "shortened season".

the funny thing is, how in the world can you compare stats this year?
SJ played 6 games when ross is going play 11? read where ross coach complaining about how his qb wasn't all league. whitmer played 6 games, findlay played 5. clay 7. and hanging 71 on one team...do we count those when doing league games?

No excuses from me. A very bad loss which results in another losing season. It reminds me of 17 and 18; Ross took 5-5/5-6 from the jaws of 7-4/8-3.
At any rate, congratulations to Sandusky for winning 5 in a row.

No way Fremont should of lost this game, undispcilplined and long is awful, please stay at Fremont longer, like harbaugh in Michigan, 5 in a row for streaks, Fremont qb will be a stud for Fremont, might be awhile for another streaks win but this is a shocker, in a rilvary game, throw out all the records.
The above Post from the SBC thread. I couldn't say it better and I agree.

I still maintain Long isn't the problem.

I was thinking Ross would win 56-6, so I haven't lost a step.

I still maintain Long isn't the problem. He knows his football by he has no discipline and the lack of it is why teams loss.

But again, accountability and culture of excellence aren't issues at either/or. That's because the Head coach is the leader of discipline and most players know coming into those program of what is excepted of them. Plus when was he DC at Clyde?
