Highland beat down without their QB who was injured on first drive. Disappointing showing for Fremont, IMO. Holmes erratic. Showed glimpses. Surely bright future.

Tough loss, but the Little Giants have a bright future. In the post-game comments Coach Long said that they're not done for the season. He didn't mention any team(s) specifically. The WFRO guys mentioned Sandusky as a possibility. They also mentioned Port Clinton.

Tough loss for ross.I think next year our overall depth especially defensively will be good.Our starters are fine.szymanowski did NOT play hurt.Hes a beast.

When's the last time Ross and Sandusky didn't play? When the Buckeye Conference broke up after 1986. Sandusky went to the Erie Shores Conference, and Ross wound up in the Buckeye Central Conference. |

The Little Giants will be taking to the road again this coming Friday night. We'll be at Uniontown Lake. The Blue Streaks are 4-4 on the season after being knocked out of the playoffs by North Canton Hoover, 49-28. It'll be the first ever meeting between the Little Giants and Blue Streaks.

So I spoke to someone in the know and was told that even though Sandusky and Ross appear to be scheduled to play on 11/6, it very well may not take place.

According to Joe Eitel Ross is at Sandusky on 11/6. So maybe they aren't scared after all. Why would Sandusky want to play past 10/30 when basketball starts? Plus that would give them 11 games and I understood the maximum allowed was 10 unless you are still playing in the playoffs. |

I heard 10 games too keith.No reason sandusky couldnt fit in 2 weeks,because back in august I remember chad berndt told eagle 99 per badem that game was tentative after playoffs .So week 8 or 9 or 10 game played.So now sandusky is playing PC .Yea so streaks said adios playing PC..10 games keith,so its it .Sad for both communities.Its sad chad long has to go on yappi find damn opponent.. Im not sure sandusky goin forward has there head together..I know why happened. We got 1 more week ross fine.

You are allowed to play 11 games because you can still get your 10 regular-season games, plus a playoff game. That is a big misunderstanding, but OHSAA has said it repeatedly.
Also, Fremont Ross will host Anthony Wayne on Friday, October 30th.
