about 7 minutes left in the half and normandy is just awful.well the second half will start with a running clock unless normandy comes with a couple of touchdowns in the last 7 minutes of the half but im sure that wont happen.

While I was listening to pregame, you could tell 1-7 playoff record was really eating at Cahill and Logan. It was like they wanted to suit up themselves and do something about it, Ha! The boys on the field more than did the job at hand.
Well Little Giants, at least another week of Football!

Congratualations fremont ross.It was a total team effort.Within minutes kaden had 3 scores, ..Alot of kids got to play and starters sat which was good to see!

Don't hold me to this, but I believe the biggest cheer last night was when PA announced under OHSAA rules, we were under a running clock.
That was with a minute gone in 2nd Q when Little Giants went up 36-0.

Ross now travels to Medina Highland for a regional quarterfinal game. Ross is 4-3, Highland is 3-2. This one will be a shootout similar to the St. Johns or St. Francis games. Hope the Little Giants are done celebrating last nights win, are back to earth, and ready to focus. Highland a tough challenge.

I couldn't agree more.
Ross has to act like it's business as usual and not get get caught up with 2nd ever playoff win. Having said this, I think Little Giants have a solid shot to win this upcoming weekend.
For the record, Highland had 8-9 all-time playoff record with Final Four appearance in 2013. It's evidently a growing district as it played Oak Harbor and Bellevue in postseason about 20 years ago. Their usual kryptonite in postseason has been Avon Eagles.

One thing no one has talked about is how disciplined chad his kids!!@ Again credit coaching staff and kids.
I think kids be fine Friday focused .Fremont don't get too high just grind it out 1 play time. We have been down 28 to 6 within minutes lead evaporated.

If you talk to any fremont person you would think they have won 50 playoff games! A win is a win however. Even if it is against normandy... |

Woodson Little Giants lost to Massillon, 35-28 when Ross stalled at 3 yard line. Year prior, Ross finished 9-1, but missed postseason.
True, Ross' fine tradition doesn't add up to playoff history.

cant be keith,avon has a home playoff game with north olmsted friday night according to maxpreps. avon had their first round bye last week. i looked at maxpreps on perrysburg schedule and there is no mention of avon or any game this coming friday.

North Olmsted is not able to play Friday night and Avon automatically advances into the playoffs to next weeks round. Since Avon has an open date this week, they are playing Perrysburg in a regular season game. |
