The north central Ohio corridor has been holding it's own quite well against the WBL in recent years. I personally felt up to the challenge of VW and Kenton from the perspective of proving we can hang with the WBL. I'm not overlooking anybody with a bye, but come on we can continue to put the vaunted WBL in their place. Not exactly all of this is "recent"....but since I have access to it I'll post Bellevue's full history against the WBL: Year -- Round...........................Opponent......................Result.........Location 1996 - Regional Final.................Lima Bath.....................W 31-14......Findlay 2000 - Regional Quarterfinal.......St Marys Memorial.........W 35-28......Bellevue 2000 - Regional Semifinal...........Van Wert.......................L 21-35......Findlay 2001 - Regional Quarterfinal.......St Marys Memorial.........W 35-21......St Marys 2003 - Regional Quarterfinal.......Kenton..........................L 27-46......Bellevue 2011 - Regional Quarterfinal.......Elida.............................L 20-54......Bellevue 2012 - Regional Quarterfinal.......Elida............................W 19-14......Sandusky 2016 - Regional Quarterfinal.......Ottawa-Glandorf.............L 34-49......Ottawa I suppose we're due for another crack at this league. I revisited my statement. I was wildly off my rocker. From 2016 on, anyone from Clear Fork to Sandusky went 2-5 in the playoffs against the WBL. I'm very distinctly biased from Shelby beating St Mary's in 2017 and the fact that Mansfield hung with Trotwood last year when the WBL schools always get whacked by them. Even so. We need to rise up. Bellevue has all the WBL on their side of the bracket. I'll happily outsource the task to y'all.

Nobody better get any smart ideas of ruining my Shelby vs Bellevue regional finals. keep an eye on Van Wert... they would be the one that could pose a threat... I've seen Van Wert firsthand five times, will be six after Friday. Fast. Very fast with a very good QB.

Very interesting that Bellevue and Shelby finished with the exact same # of points. Bellevue gets the #1 seed by virtue of one more 1st place vote.
I also find it ironic that the team we will play is the team that voted us the highest.

The coaches moved Wauseon up 4 places because they were 5-0, they lost tonight. Yet another reason to go with the Harbin System, not coach's musings.

well willard archbold was also 5-0 before defeating wauseon tonight 36-35 so wauseon was not playing a slouch.

Well Smith...Archbold is a D-VI team with CONSIDERABLY fewer Harbin points than Colonel Crawford in their Region. AGAIN showing why the Harbin Point system is FAR superior to coaches bias.

You have to remember that they had to make this decision back in early August, when it as still unknown as to whether football would even be allowed to play, and it was thought to be highly probable that you'd have a whole bunch of teams entering the playoffs having played 0-3 games.

well sportsvideo, i think the tigers will be fine with your seniors and athleticism i feel that the tigers will win against either bryan or clearview.if clearviews pulls the surprise, then i see huron rolling over clearview,if its bryan,it will be a little tougher but still a tiger win.well i will be pulling for huron and as far as my chargers go im kind of a ? with clear fork,it will be a fast game.clear fork loves to run the ball too,not much passing so this game could be played under 2 hours.then if we win ,then go to keystone, which is better than i thought but as far as lorain county 8,other than them and firelands, the rest is not to good

Buckeye,
It's been proven that was yet another bad decision. Of the college and NFL football teams that have had many players test positive after a game was played. Not a single player on the opposing team tested positive after playing the team with players with the virus. Can you explain that?

Are they in Region 14? How did the SBC coaches rank them?

Ontario can prove themselves in the playoffs and show they deserved a higher seed Good news is... Ontario was moved down to #9. Giving them the best shot at winning 2 playoff games. If you'd done the research you would've known I'd be glad about the new seed. Maybe the SBC coaches want a revote.

Anyone hear anything of players/cheerleaders and band members only getting 2 tickets for the home team instead of the 4 that’s been allowed thus far?

Anyone hear anything of players/cheerleaders and band members only getting 2 tickets for the home team instead of the 4 that’s been allowed thus far? Not sure but I heard the capacity limits are based on each side. For example, if home side is 2,000 then home team gets 300 tickets (15%). If visiting side is 1,500 the visiting team gets 225 (15%). This could cause lower numbers for home schools because previously in SBC a set number was agreed upon for visiting and home got all the rest to meet 15% of entire facility. It wasn’t 15% of each side like it will be for playoffs.
