B1G has changed its COVIC game cancel policy for this year, If a team has to cancel a game because of COVID, it is counted as a forfeit and a win for the other team. If both teams have to cancel, then it is a no contest. Lets hope Ewers and his other 9 buddies dont screw up the season for the BUcks. Get the damn shot. But the Big Ten is also allowing each team to administer their testing covid policy their own way. Ohio State isn’t testing any vaccinated players but testing unvaccinated players twice a week.

All so unecessary, when the solution is quite simple. There should be no need for any testing, except a rare circumstance. Everyone vaccinated, eliminates testing and unecessary distractions, where by, they can concentrate on winning games and winning championships.

Guess the issue may be solved. Ohio State University announced late Tuesday that it will require all students, faculty, staff, employees to be vaccinated.

If you want your athletic scholarship you WILL get vaccinated. Unless you can come up with a religious or health reason not to.

Imagine what would happen if the transfer portal started to explode because of this? Or if a large enough portion of the NON-scholarship students decided to transfer.

Studying and interacting with an immunity enhanced atmosphere, that incorporates wearing of masks as a double safeguard of protection, has to be a comforting assurance to students and their family.

Especially, working in a profession, where the safety and well being of patients should be first and foremost. The reality of it is, they will be soon be unemployed, if not in compliance.

Maybe you should talk to a few more in the medical community. it is not a few obnoxious loudmouths. You should check and see if the White House is requiring it's employees to be vaccinated. If the FDA is requiring it's employees to be vaccinated. Is the CDC requiring employees to be vaccinated to go to work? Johnson & Johnson not only has a vaccine but also a booster and they are not requiring employees to be vaccinated to come to work.

Not just any mask, the powder blue paper ones are worthless. Your breath passes right through them. If you wear 2 cloth masks, one on top of the other, you get close to 85% protection. NOTHING is 100%. THEN you MUST wash them in a washing machine as soon as you take them off or throw them away. NO public school District in Richland country has a mask mandate or vaccination requirement.

I agree with mask dispositions, but even a mask, used repeatedly is effective in protecting the wearer from airborn, Viral droplets. I believe in individual state autonomy, in analyzing situations with respect of what is best for their individual state. But, I also believe there are dramatic variances from county to county, throughout this Covid outbreak, consequently, the counties should have a long leash on making policy for their region.

Waiting on the NCAA decision on SC LB transfer Palaie Gaoteote, has been a source of anxiety for everyone concerned. The season opener is almost a week away and yet, nothing. The Buckeye coaching staff say they are confident this thing will fall in our favor and I hope they are right. I've read all kind of theories of what is involved, but truth is, nobody really knows except the tight lipped OSU staffe, administration and Gaoteote himself. I was just thinking, is there a possibility the NCAA is awaiting his grade transcripts from the OSU summer session? What do you guys think?

Somewhat off topic but I see where JK Dobbins may be out for the year after suffering a knee injury in their preseason game yesterday. Man that sucks for him.

I think what's being lost in the Nebraska upset, is the emerging presence of Bret Bielema, who I expect to bring that program back to a level of respectability.....as much as I despise the guy.
I also expect to see Penn State to pull out of their temporary lull and re-enter the upper echelon of elite programs.
Indiana is the real deal and expect a continuation of their steady rise to prominence. Just how far they have come should be revealed at Iowa in the opener. But this year's Hoosier story will become much clearer when they host Cincinnati in week 3.
In fact, the Big Ten East is seeing three programs on an upswing, in Indiana, Maryland and Rutgers. The Big Ten in general (perhaps Michigan & MSU the exceptions) is on the improve.

LIABILITY - Mel Tucker, Jim Harbaugh

Scorr Frost isn't teetering he is done. NEB was leaking incriminating info on him this summer. That's never a good sign.

Well, there's the rest of the season to prove or disprove himself. To that, we can tell him to, 'go down swinging....kid'. Everyone with the qualified insight, says he's an outstanding coach, but I'm guessing another one of those that were never meant to fill a head coaching position, but would excel as an assistant coach or coordinator. That appears to most likely be his destiny.

Dallas Gant has entered the transfer portal 3 games into the season.
He probably looked at Eichenberg’s amazing 9 tackles on the season and thought f*ck this.
