Well, outside of this league I've been done with fantasy sports for awhile. Football was always my favorite format and I haven't even bothered to play that for about 3 years now. It's just not something I want to put time into anymore. I've really only been holding on here because of our strong league history and great group of guys.

2020 was actually kind of refreshing not having to worry about any of this stuff, and now with all this lockout uncertainty going on I think it's time for me to bow out for good. Maybe there will some bastardized version of a fantasy season or maybe there won't be enough games to warrant a fantasy season at all, but either way I'm just not interested enough to care.

I hate to drop this on you guys now, but I figure I better speak up now before it's completely too late (best case scenario opening day is still a full month away.)

It's been fun. Sorry for crapping out like this. Here's hoping you can find a suitable replacement to take over my team. Maybe he'll even take down the 'No Trout Fishing' sign.

Based on the few of us that joined the discord and who has posted here we are good to go once we find a 10th.

Does anyone know someone that would want to take over? I tend to think it works better if the replacement owner knows someone in the League. I think we should explore that route before going somewhat public.

Altho i would honesty suggest just rolling rosters over and having a blind draft for waiver wire order because my draft preparation level is about ZERO. I thought the MLBPA was dug in and prepared to sit out. I didn't expect games til July.

40 man roster keep who you want draft who you want when you want. If you have extra picks then draft til ur out of picks and be at 40 by opening day.

I haven't heard back from CEO for a couple of days so I'm gonna go with one of my primary ethos.  Its better to ask forgiveness  than to ask permission.  

Send me and email address for your buddy and I will get him set up(Discord, email, or pm hell text me if you have the number lol ).  If you haven't already, try to prime him with rules, fee, this board or better yet the discord.

I agree with this too, I believe none of us would bring on a "bad" owner.  After the last couple of years, I think even with a new owner we may start to smooth out again.  I even have some ideas on that.

I'm still here. just been busy with work. asked for a huge raise, let them know I was looking and had viable offers, got promoted. since I really did nothing the previous 4-plus months I've been playing catch up the last 6 weeks. supply issues to work through (think I got most of those covered) and now staffing the place is turning out to be even more difficult than last season. right now I have 6 supervisors when I used to have 15, 2 cooks used to have 8, 4 non-profit groups while I had 20 to work with heading into 2020.
starting to think maybe I should have taken that offer and walked away.

getting them hired and trained are the easy parts. the "I wanna work with so and so" and the "I don't wanna do x, I'd rather do y" are the headaches. like no Poop, Brittany, I'd rather be riding coasters but here I am, sweating my *** off because 5 people called off today. now go do the job I asked you to do or go home. it's not even 5p and I'm already tired of your Poop.
