I just watched the full game. Your quarterback doesn't impress me that much. He doesn't throw the ball he "pushes" it to his receivers. He missed a few receivers in the first half. He did have HUGE drop on that bomb though. That boy should have caught that pass. That would have been a long touchdown pass. He had a couple of drops, but he missed a couple of wide open receivers too. The Galion team drop multiple of passes...falling down in their routes..sliding after catching the ball after a good gain. It looked terrible on film. .......The second half was disastrous. Harding had multiple runs were we should have got him for a one yard loss...break 4 easy tackles and runs for 30 yards for the touchdown. ...Multiple runs like that. Our punter kicking 2 punts that might have went 15 yards. My son throwing 2 interceptions...one I could see..he looked him down too much. The second one he should have never thrown...just run the darn ball and pick up a couple of yards. Harding is going to get beat by JA and probably by Pleasant too. If Galion can play them to a tie at half...and screw up that bad in the 2nd half (which no team (like JA or Pleasant) will), they are going to get beat a couple of more times. Harding had 11 pentatles in the first Q lol! Harding played like Poop. Once they cleaned it up and played Harding football this year they whooped poor galion. 40-12 🌟🌟🌟 sayre 19-24 very impressive. Cook 8-24 is Poop. However he has a 6'5 frame and has all the potential in the world. Throws to many INT My son is only 6'4"...not 6'5". "Savory" isn't that impressive...Cook"e" will get better. He didn't play like poop. He should have ran more. Don't worry I talked with him tonight, he just isn't feeling confident in his knee yet. Hopefully against RV he test it out a little more.

It's a team sport our pusher does a great job when the line blocks we have good skill players who have only been on the field together for the last two games JA is a good team we will play with them our kids will be ready should be a huge crowd Gallon your son is good when he gets his playing legs he will do fine but ur a bitter man why all the Harding hate good luck vs RV

I'm not hyping them up. Just saying what they can do. And they're the fastest team in the moac lol. A wet night I doubt they used all the plays. Time will tell. Focus on RV this week. Should be a close one for you guys. Good luck as well. Once again I'm not a fan of no one. I watch teams in blue also

I just don't see it as that "4", I see a tied game in the first half...the penalties wasn't everything the first half. Harding couldn't run against against us consistently. We were tackling better. I asked me son tonight "what happened in the second half?" He said he didn't know. He said it seemed like they all felt like they were going to win by what happened in the first half. But if you look at the 2nd half, we come out strong...stop them like once...get the ball back...dropped passes again...stupid runs up the middle on 1st down. We punt and it goes like 15 yards. They get great field position..score 3 times within in like a half of quarter...on more missed tackles that I think I've seen in my life. So I ask you is that because of how great Harding is....or...how bad Galion is right now? I say the later. I guess from what I'm hearing is you think it's because Harding is so great. You and I just disagree. We will find out who is right when Harding plays JA...this week right. If JA beats them by say like 35-21, I guess I was. If Harding win, I can say...Damn! You and D1 were right. I'll be the first to say it too.

I just want a close game competitive game. I voted for Harding to pull upset, if JA wins they'll go undefeated.

I don't hate on Harding..just D1. LOL Only team I dislike is JA, cause they always win. I just think Harding is over-rated a bit by beating 2 bad teams. I'm probably wrong. I don't mind being wrong. I don't know teams in this division very well. I don't know the history of them at all. I just watch their prior team videos and analyze what I see on our actual game films. I then make my observations. Maybe because of the rain, they couldn't showcase their speed. That could be it and like you said maybe they didn't showcase all their plays.
I'm not worried about RV. I just watched a few series of them on HUDL a second ago against Fairbanks. They look to be a "run-it-down-your-throat" team. You can imagine how we will handle a team like that with our elite tackling skills. It could be another long game for us. That's me being honest. Maybe we won't let this team intimidate us, and we will go out there and put a good game together. Until we do that, I'm going to have a hard time believing we will win another game this season.

Rv gave up 27 to Fairbanks. It'll be close if galion is better on offense. What did you watch galion vs Harding on ??

I use my son's HUDL account. Like for the RV game, I can go in and watch all RV full games they have played this season to see how other teams have matched up with them to get a gauge on how we can do against them.
You know what? I don't think Fairbanks has a bad offense. I don't know if their offense is any worse than ours right now. I could see an identical score happening. The difference will be if we can start tackling like we did in the first half against Harding and maintain it while we build a lead. Leads produce more confidence in our young players I'm hoping.
I will say this our Junior Varsity team (or whatever they call them) is winning a lot of games this year. Or maybe it's our freshman team. That team is going to be good in a couple of years.

There o line is weak spot. Harding d line got after them Harding has 2 guys with over 5 sacks I think on dline, qb is big and he is hard to take down sometimes. He's has big arm not to accurate. He will let it go tho. Get after him and he throws picks or takes off. There wrs are decent. They don't run the ball.

Galiontiger, don't know about the freshman team's record. JV is 4-2. Only team that clearly beat them was Pleasant by 28-7. JA scored a go-ahead TD with around 2 minutes to go and won 21-14.
Next year Galion should be more competitive. Don't know if #11 will move to QB like he was in Junior High or if #16 will step into that role.

I was told by a coach that the freshmen were undefeated. That's freakin' awesome. I know the JV team beat Harding like 27-6. That's why I never could understand why the younger kids don't get playing time. I remember in our scrimmages the 2nd unit would come out and man they could tackle..gang-tackling. I understand they were going against the 2nd team too, but they just seemed waaay more technical and motivated in their tackling abilities. I get that you want to give the seniors their chance to play their last year. But if I'm the coach and we are like 1-30 now (LOL), I'd be thinking about next year and the year after...developing this younger kid's toughness against the BIG BOYS...at least some. I think our Head coach is doing a good job. There are some minor things I totally disagree with him on (not letting the kids post their HUDL videos online for recruiting purpose). I'll never understand that one, but hey he's the head coach..what can you do? LOL My son loves the guys and that's the most important thing. I've watched practices. He's an involved coach. I don't like coaches throwing to kids though, and then you go out on the field and all our receivers have a hard time catching the balls. I wonder if that's the best thing to have..and not our quarterbacks making those throws. I know it's probably easier on time to have the coaches just run the plays and throw the ball up there. That's something I "might" have to disagree with him on that again. LOL ...Wait let me end by saying I LOVE our head coach, he was decimated with injuries this year. It's been tough on him.

As much as I would like to see SOME JV players used as placeholders in Varsity games to rest our 2-way players, there are some JV players that are big enough (Juniors for the most part) to be physically and competitively OK against another teams' varsity but most probably couldn't compete with the speed of Harding's starters for example.

Sometimes finding the spots to be able to hide a kid and rest another is a skill few coaches possess as we all have seen the best players on the field much more than they should be.

I don't know what game you were watching against Harding. Most throws hit their hands. Does he throw interceptions this year? Yeaaahh! I think he's letting his emotions get to him. Literally almost all his interceptions have come when we were down by at least 2 touchdowns in the 2nd half. He needs to work on that. He's forcing the ball into tough situations; he can't do that. I want him to take off and run in that situation. He's concerned about his knee though. Understandable..but he needs to do it. It would open our game up so much more, because we can't run the ball for whatever reason.
