From what I have heard they will all get reps on Saturday at Keystone. I have been told they are each getting the same amount of reps in practice and have gotten the same number of reps at each of their passing scrimmages. Definitely sounds like they are on a even playing field, and will be up to one of the three to take control of the scrimmage. But I am sure the crafty veteran coach probably has in his head who he wants, just giving people things to think about going into the season.

A lot of discussion for a qb that will throw 5-10 a game and 90% of those throws being to the flats or screens

It has been two days, Skippy!! What is the word on the street? From what I have heard the sophomore got sent home from practice on Wednesday and Thursday due to illness, so it's my understanding that the 2 juniors will get all the reps with the starters tomorrow. I also heard that one the juniors is leaving next week to go to a fishing tournament. So it might be last man standing by the sounds of it

Well my take on the flyers scrimmage this morning. Sp struggled mightly looked very sluggish on both sides of the ball. As far as the Qb situation well I don't think it is very clear yet both juniors did nothing to put themselves in the driver's seat going into the Edison scrimmage. The sophomore led the 2nd and 3rd teams to two scores and just looks like the more natural qb of the three, even had a couple nice designed runs called for him. I know he missed a couple practices this week but I was definitely impressed by his performance. Saw at the end of the scrimmage Keystone's coach made a point to walk over and say something to him. I'm sure Coach Livengood will make some changes not wholesale ones but I am sure there will be some, should be a interesting week of practice for the Flyers.

Well more interesting news about the qb battle at SP. One of the juniors is dealing with a back issue and the other is gone at a fishing tournament, so it appears that the sophomore is the last man standing at least for Friday s scrimmage. The sophomore took all of the 1st team reps today at practice.

Hope the injury is nothing serious as that is far more important then who the QB will be for a scrimmage.

Lucas? I feel like Lucas would take over the FC in football. They've been playing at a different level for awhile now. May be wrong. Also seems like they up their strength of schedule to prep for the playoffs. Not sure the FC would meet those standards they've set for themselves. Willard seems to be brought up often. Thanks for the great words about my Cubs. I think Lucas would join the FC in a nanosecond if approached. Scheduling as a football independent is a challenge. They'd bring some physicality to the conference, no question. Yearly contests with NSP and Crestview would be fantastic. Lucas would also be a great addition in basketball as well. They've been great lately. Coach Iceman has really turn that program around. Someone make it happen! Lol.

Edison 13 sp 7 tonight in 2 quarters of action How was the QB play? Was just the sophomore who played was a very vanilla game plan lots of runs, he did complete a nice long ball has a big arm. I am sure it won't be decided who gets the start against Huron until about 701 pm next Friday
