Well Ohio State backs themselves, while on their couches, into the CFP.
1. Georgia 2. Michigan 3. TCU 4. Ohio State
What do we think?

scUM has a cakewalk to the final. TCU would be a mid-pack team in both B1G and SEC

The committee understands Ohio State is one of college football's most talented teams. One half of uncharacteristically bad football, does nothing to change that fact.

I’m expecting Michigan to blow out TCU.

Ohio State had a bad second half just like all the other teams Michigan buried in the second half this year. Really is remarkable how good Michigan has been this year in the second half.

And If Ohio St does their job at home instead of almost getting doubled up they would have a cakewalk to the finals. 🤦🏼♂️

Georgia- The staple of balanced football team. Not unbeatable, but very good team.
Michigan- I’ll give credit where it’s due, my only question though… Does JJ McCarthy have the ability to elevate his game beyond what anyone has seen this year.
TCU- This team has found a way to win every week, and we’re inches from helping to secure an undefeated season. They have plenty of talent and I am intrigued to see how Duggan comes into this game and leads his team.
Ohio State- This team is loaded with talent, the only question that needs to be asked is…. Will all that talent finally put it all together.

Given opening spread makes me think Bama should been 4. Tide can compete with Dawgs

Given opening spread makes me think Bama should been 4. Tide can compete with Dawgs I think Bama would be favored against 2-4. The question for me though is what Bryce Young are we getting? Heisman winner or Heisman blunder.

Per NCAA talk blog: "The timing of this seems weird with Michigan making it to the playoffs for the 2nd straight year today. But rumors are going around that the Colts are going to make a strong push for Jim Harbaugh this off-season, and might have already started recruiting him there. Harbaugh flirted with going back to the NFL last year, but chose to stay at Michigan instead. Harbaugh once played QB for Indy in the 90s before Peyton Manning arrived, and coached former Colt Andrew Luck at Stanford. The Colts are reportedly using Luck, who still has a great relationship with Harbaugh, and owner Jim Irsay, to recruit him to the Colts."

If Ohio State cannot beat Ga,,,Mich sure as heck isn't. I say that because for either OSU or Mich to beat Ga,,they have to score a lot of points--which I think OSU can do and Mich cannot. Ga has a strong rushing defense, and that alone hurts Mich's chances bigtime.

Unfortunately I don't think we have the strength at the line of scrimmage on either side to hang with a Georgia. Hope I am wrong. We have the talent just have not been able to capitalize on that much this year. Would be great to have a Natty with Michigan though!

Slim chance OSU beats Georgia. I just don't see it and it doesn't help the game is in Georgia's backyard.

I was hoping he would be back but really he hasn't been there all season so not sure it impacts us too much. If you think about this season and how much better we could have been with JSN and our backs being healthy. All the pundits could talk about at the Michigan game was the absence of Corum while OSU basically played with two starting backs out and the key receiver. But at OSU it is just the next man up mentality so we dont overdramatize our injuries

They held a Tennessee offense that averages nearly 50 points a game to thirteen. When they feel like playing they are a stifling bunch to deal with.

Georgia was very average against Kent State, Missouri and Kentucky. They also could only manage 27 on Tennessee's underwhelming defense. Although a challenging task, Georgia is very beatable.

Or wait let me guess, Michigan have the big guys up front to wear down Georgia’s defense?

Georgia fumbled the ball away twice in Tennessee territory which helped keep the score down. None the less it was 24-6 at half and they cruised to a win. Kind of similar to their win over LSU saturday where they buried LSU and then just took their foot off the gas and coasted. Very much a championship team that’s bored imo. What match up’s do you think favors OSU?

One thing that comes to mind is offensive tempo. When the Buckeyes run the no huddle and go, it’s damn near impossible to stop especially when CJ is in the zone.
WR’s also go to Buckeyes. I like CJ over Bennett as well.

I like CJ over Bennett as well. Tennessee runs one of the fastest tempo’s in CFP. Georgia throttled them so I’m guessing OSU won’t surprise them with Tempo. I’ll take Bennett over Stroud. Cj is no doubt more physically gifted but Bennet is tougher and a proven champion.
