Malone‘s production doesn’t match the hype that he’s getting. Lol ok. You can cop an attitude but it’s the truth. Thirteen tackles and two sacks in two seasons isn’t considered productive by pretty much any standard. Then again if Michigans defense we’re as soft as Ohio States I’d be excited for some new blood in the room too.

Everyone knows his potential and I’ll go by all the coaches around the country that wanted him over what redskinfan on this sports forum thinks.

Maybe Ohio States system will cause him to flourish and get the stats you would respect Redskin.

Ohio State will travel to the rose bowl to play UCLA in 2024 and host USC in 2025. No more divisions so the top 2 teams will face off in the championship game. Possible OSU vs TUN two times a year. I don’t see USC being that big of a threat and especially not UCLA.

The only thing that upsets me about the BIG10 moving away from divisions is no more yearly dates with Penn State.

Ohio State just landed two big time recruits from the Tarblooders.

Ohio State is ranked #2 in 2024 recruiting, but they have the 2nd best per player average of 91.33 with 18 players committed.
Georgia is currently, in 1st place at the moment, due to having more commits (26), but a lower average (90.92)
Alabama will make their traditional, late run in recruiting. They are currently #14 in the rankings, with only 12 commits, but have the best average of 91.92, slightly better than the Buckeyes.
Ohio State has a real shot at winning the recruiting crown for the 2024 class, but it's going to interesting how things finish between OSU, Bama and Georgia.

Ryan Day still has not named a starter yet. I wonder if Brown might actually win this job.

What I would give to be in Ryan’s head on this one.

There are only so many reps in practice and regardless of how good both QBs look, splitting the reps between 2 players limits the growth of one of them and potentially the team. Unless every offensive position has a starting spot battle and we can throw two equally talented offenses into practice reps.

What I would give to be in Ryan’s head on this one. It's not good to be in Day's Head 2018 - Ryan Day named Head Coach in December - He bragged how he was going to take Michigan to the woodshed year after year 2019 - Ryan Day's lone win vs Michigan with 100% Urban Meyer recruits 2020 2021 2022 2023 <--- We are here, and Ryan Day is wondering if he can ever beat Michigan with one of his recruits? It's Year 5 of the Ryan Day tenure and he only has 1 win vs Michigan. Terrifyingly bad. Cooper was undefeated 3 times and then lost to Michigan. Ryan Day's idol? Cooper didn't have what it takes to beat Michigan Ryan Day is looking like a Cooper replica Cooper wasn't an Ohio boy. Didn't understand Day isn't an Ohio boy. Doesn't understand Tressel was born in Ohio. He knew Meyer was born in Ohio. He knew I watched this Ryan Day movie in the 1990's. I didn't like it. Left me nauseous.

That was an ok win, nothing overly great though. Mccord is the better QB. D-line isn’t getting enough pressure though. If they can’t even make plays against Youngstown, how they gonna do it against ND and Michigan?

So far over two games, what has Jack Sawyer done? Seriously, does his name ever get mentioned during broadcasts for making a play?

He just doesn’t seem to be the motivater to get guy’s to play to there potential. Need to stick with Mcord at qb. He needs all the reps and experience. On that note.. sure would be nice to have Ewers as our qb this year. Anyone else have a feeling that if Ewers beats Bama tonite he may repeat the type of year Burrows had for LSU?

Remember when Ryan Day was the QB coach and he recommended to the very busy Head Coach to go with JT Barrett IV over Joe Burrow, when I was calling for Haskins or Burrow to be the starter. I remember. Then remember the next year Ryan Day was the QB coach and he recommended to the very busy Head Coach to go with Dwayne Haskins over Joe "Heisman" Burrow, running off Joe Burrow to LSU where Joe Burrow won a National Championship and a Heisman. I remember.
Then remember when Ryan Day became the Head Coach and HE thought he'd crush Michigan every year, blabbing along like he was greater than Jim Tressel or Urban Meyer, yet he's in year 5 of his tenure as Head Coach and still only has 1 win vs Michigan and that lone win was with 100% Urban Meyer recruits. I remember.
Ryan Day is a New Hampshire boy. He's clueless to what Michigan/Ohio State means. In his head OSU/UM is New Hampshire/Maine. He doesn't get it.

Read an article that said the Defense is playing to keep the action in the middle of the field. Game one 3 points. Game two 7 points. As for sacks/ pressure ,,, I think they will come eventually as we play different style teams. It's a marathon not a sprint to get to where we want to be. Patience. Our back 5-6 DB's are wayyyy improved from last season. To me it's very encouraging knowing that our pass Defense is a strength rather than a huge liability.

Definitely encouraged by the secondary play, so much improved. Burke looks like his freshman year, Styles looks like a stud, Hartford is starting as a true freshman. Our linebackers look great and even Hicks made some plays in his little bit of action. Can’t wait for the ND game.

Just read that Western Kentucky is averaging 327 passing yards per game right now. Good test for our secondary next Saturday.

Just some interesting stats I saw online, regarding Jack Sawyer, in two games he has played 69 snaps and has only 2 pressures. That’s rough. I’m curious if Curry or Kenyatta Jackson should get some more time.

I read somewhere that Kyle will be the guy moving forward and I think that should have been in place all along. Devin Brown did not look good this past Saturday.

McCord entering the portal immediately and will not play in the bowl game. What do we think will be the plan? IS there any chance that a transfer could come in and play in the bowl? is it Devin Brown? Will it be Kienholz?
