McCord entering the portal immediately and will not play in the bowl game. What do we think will be the plan? IS there any chance that a transfer could come in and play in the bowl? is it Devin Brown? Will it be Kienholz? Ewers? Wait

Is there any chance that a transfer could come in and play in the bowl? is it Devin Brown? Will it be Kienholz? Ewers? Wait This years team was supposed to be his. So many kids want to play as a freshman but in todays world you can have a good junior or senior season and go high in draft. Had Ewers stayed and put time in he could have had a great season this year and moved on to NFL if that is wanted. Does this lock in Nolan as next season's starter? OR will the portal be the answer?

It will be interesting to see what happens wherever McCord lands. If he does really well is that an indication of coaching?

It’ll be interesting to hear the story on this. Guys that go 11-1 as first year starters don’t typically just up and leave like McCord is doing. Almost has a run out type feel to it.

I truly have no clue who the QB in 2024 will be. Last year I think we all pretty much knew Mccord was going to be the starter. Right now, I have no idea if it’ll be Brown, Keinholz, Noland, or a transfer. So much dust that has to settle still. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if Brown transferred too, I have no theory or reasons why, just saying it wouldn’t surprise me.

It will literally be a whole new offense next year. All the wide receivers will be new, TE, running back, QB, and even a few linemen. Current players should be eyes wide open at the playing time they can get next year with so many spots open.

What has become of Trey Leroux?

he didn’t live up to the standard, plain and simple. what's the standard? he didn’t have that “IT” factor. People saying “oh he went 11-1” didn’t watch all the games. He consistently missed wide open targets many times throughout games and of course having the best receiver at your disposal makes you look better than you are. You wanna say Stroud didn’t beat Michigan, well he didn’t, but as you can see what he is doing in the NFL and was the reason we almost won the Georgia game. Kyle got lucky he found Ebuka on 3&19 against Norte Dame or else there would be another loss on the record.

I was a McCord supporter all season but we did not take full advantage of having the best group of players to throw the ball to this season.

With all of the talent at his disposal, he just doesn't have the "IT" factor, to come up with a game plan to beat the team up north. And whatever "IT" is, Hairball and company apparently has found "IT", and used the talent available to come up with a winning game plan.

I wonder what the late Bobby Knight would think about the "it" factor. We certainly know what he thought about putting on one's "game face."

RB Chip Traynimin (sp) is 13th buckeye to enter portal.

The general consensus I have is McCord was good, not great. Throughout the team we I too saw his miss passes that were either wide open or he made a poor throw. Good luck to him and on to the next signal caller.

RB Chip Traynimin (sp) is 13th buckeye to enter portal. With NIL and the transfer portal college football will never be the same. I’m an advocate of them getting paid. They put in the work, take the risk, and bring in the revenue, but without some guardrails on this highway we’re headed for the ditch or worse yet off a cliff. Sigh.

I think enthusiasm will wane, but gradually so it probably will go unnoticed. Think about how crazy this is. A quarterback on a perennial national championship contender who went 11-1 thinks the grass is greener somewhere else. Rather than looking inside and working harder to get better he’s taking his ball and going home (elsewhere really). Is this what sports and college football is supposed to be teaching. I’ve always said football (and to a lesser extent basketball, baseball, wrestling) is one of the few ways we have left to make boys into men. Is this the kind of men we want to make? Another sign of the beginning of the end. Man, do I sound old.
