Just like Kritz' response regarding Central Catholic in Region 10, put Glenville at the top, and keep them there.

This region is blah. Who gives a flying fart? Anyone who follows high school football knows Glenville will win this region with ease. Everyone else is playing for first place loser.

Serious question. If Glenville loses to Avon, IMG and Hoban, where will they get enough points from to make playoffs?

Figure it out Sbclives Libertys schedule is rough. However that bottom half of region 14 is horrible and Glenville should make it with ease

Apparently Glenvilles loss to IMG doesn't figure into the computer points. Sitting at 5th. Perkins is a lock for the #1 seed IMO.

I don't know the technicalities, but I can see how IMG is similar to the Columbus Crusaders/SPIRE Academy in terms of not being "enough of a high school" for the OHSAA's ratings to apply.
For fun, pull up a Google Maps of IMG's campus. They have a driving range and a par 3-esque practice hole on the campus. Pretty darn cool.

All I have is the Google Maps imagery. IMG has a metropolis for a campus based on that. They have everything you'd dream of having for the sport you like.
The closest I have approached that was with SPIRE. I once had a Geneva local give me a tour of SPIRE since he had a gym membership for their public gym (and therefore ready access to the whole scene). They were having the B10 indoor track championships and the Big East swimming championships held there at the same time. I visited in January for what it was worth. They were also hosting a giant HS volleyball camp at the time. I was thoroughly impressed. Though SPIRE was, supposedly, bankrolled by an eager wealthy local. Super wealthy local, I should say. Seems like he thought "build it, and they will come".
Here's a fun fact. Prior to UConn joining the new Catholic basketball centric Big East, the genuine true "most central" point of the Big East based on school locations was somewhere between Bucyrus and Tiffin. You have the Midwest schools pulling west, and the coastal schools pulling east. The epicenter was Tiffin/Bucyrus. It made SPIRE pretty useful for that swim meet.

So far this is a top heavy Region four really good teams, a few so-so teams and then everyone else. If the season plays out like it does this Region could see many 5-5 teams and a few under 500 teams. This Region might make the case for why we shouldn't expand the playoffs and keep it to eight teams.

Why are we even paying any attention to this region? Glenville will not get challenged by anybody in this region.

Think you better do some research if you think Glenville won’t get challenged. Especially since they came back from IMG a lot less healthy than they arrived…..

As of 9/23/23, this region still runs through the Tarblooders. We are going to further find out their abilities in a couple weeks when they play Hoban. My biggest question for the rest of the field is who is going to put together a complete game and beat Glenville?

Perkins is the only team that can beat them IMO. Nobody else in this region is close to these 2 in talent. By the looks of the seeding they will meet before the regional final.

Perkins will look like they are in slow motion compared to IMG and their roster full of P5 talent.

Hoban appears from what I have been able to watch and read are legit. Who knows Hoban might even beat IMG, but I won't quite make that statement since they don't play.

They have more P5 talent on their roster than most states in their entire senior recruiting classes. Hoban’s not going to do any better than Glenville did and most likely will do worse. I’m not trying to drag Perkins here. I’m trying to illuminate the issues that Perkins is going to face. One of the biggest being Glenville will have played a much much higher level of competition. They’ll be well prepared for whatever Perkins rolls out. Hopefully a match up is a regional title game if it happens. Would such to meet Glenville in round two and get bounced.

We all know that this Glenville's to lose. What I am thinking about the most is which team that will be ranked 9-16 could pull off an upset. I could see a St. Marys, Napoleon, Bryan, Bath, or Firelands could possibly pull off an upset.

A win over Hoban should secure a top 2 seed for Glenville.
