Waited 18 years but here we are again. Playoffs of 7-1 leaves us rested and ready. ASG win gives us homefiekd. Contributions from the stars and the role players has us here and to win this needs to continue.

Saw on Fox 8 news this morning, Salazar will likely be on the World Series roster, Jason Kipnis has been out of practice with a sprained ankle while jumping up and down celebrating the ALCS win, Apparently he jumped on Lindor's foot, May be healed in time for Game 1. The champagne they were spraying on each other, Costs $500 a bottle.

The saying goes somebody has to lose. In this series the saying will be somebody has to win.

Kluber with a gem, Miller gets out of some jams, offense eeks out a couple early runs, Perez puts it out of reach, all after the Cavs raise a title banner. Sweet night all the way around in Cleveland.

Tonight's game time start changed to 7:00 p.m. to avoid the rain predicted to come in later.

Bauer might not be the best pitcher in the league but he is far and away my favorite pitcher and my personal favorite Indian. The kid is unique and he is also hilarious. He wasn't born with a 95 mph arm, he worked himself into one. I hope he turns out tonight win or lose.

Bauer is allowing almost everything put in play, I was afraid of which Bauer would show up tonight. We're not hitting, Looking like series tied going to Wrigley. The only no hitter in a World Series: By Don Larsen, game 5, 1956. Are we gonna have another historical night ?

Well, there's the Tribe's first home loss this postseason.

Simply put, if the Tribe doesn't get swept in Chicago, Bauer can never be allowed to start the game pitching, not when a must win is on the line.

Good to see Salazar out there throwing again. Hope the hitting comes around in Chicago. Would like to see our batters more aggressive on the first pitch.

I'm for keeping Bauer and McCallister from pitching any more. Who is better at 1B: Napoli or Santana? Carlos was up to his old "tricks" last night with long wild swings. Napoli did reach base however. One of them may have to pinch hit.

The Tribe is a wounded dog compared to the Cubs thus we must swing the bat and swing it often and get guys on base. Their batting lineup is much stronger than ours and the Tribe will need all of its players to step up or this one I believe is over in 5-6. I hope we see a different Tribe tonight.

On WTAM this morning Andre Knott from Fox STO said that Santana agreed to play left field and has been taking fly balls out there for a week. Said that he expected to see Santana playing left tonight and Napoli at first. And that when we get the lead they will get Santana out for a defensive replacement. Tito is hoping to get 2-3 at bats from Santana each game while in left.

The Cubs lineup is stacked, best case scenario imho for the Tribe is somehow Kluber RISES up and beats the Cubs in games 1, 4, and 7...
...then somewhere in between the Indians will have to piece together a win either by cobbling 9 innings of lockdown bullpen pitching like they did in Trevor Bauer's busted stitching start vs Toronto, or by having one of those surreal hitting nights where the whole team blows up for 8 or 10 runs and buries the Cubbies before they have a chance to suck air...maybe even a touch of both...
...it's not the likeliest of scenarios in either event, but i think if the Tribe squeaks out a series W it will be in this fashion. The Cubs can go into offensive funks, but credit Maddon with benching Heyward. He was the one weak link, and if the Cubs start Schwarber in left and Zobrist right, that is a murderer's row of a lineup.
1. Fowler CF 2. Bryant 3B 3. Rizzo 1B 4. Schwarber LF 5. Zobrist RF 6. Baez 2B 7. Contreras C 8. Russell SS 9. Hendricks P
In an NL park? Forget about it. Then in the AL they can flip the script and DH Schwarber and get Soler in the game in RF. Or Almora, or Coghlan. The offensive talent on the Cubs is unreal. It's really too bad Carrasco and Salazar didn't make it to the show as starters, because we would be watching the best pitching staff in the majors facing the (3) best offensive lineups: BOS, TOR, CHC
Can't lose Kluber starts or the ship will sink real fast. Even if we lose tonight we have a chance tomorrow with Kluber starting, but sooner or later someone besides Kluber is going to have to get a W.

Wow what a win. This pitching staff is amazing.
First world series game at Wrigley Field in 71 years and it belongs to the Cleveland Indians.

Tribe pitching has been amazing, another shutout, blow the dust off the record books. The Indians have 5 postseason shutouts, the most by any team in a single postseason.

Please don't get your hopes up too high, If you'll remember, Kluber did not pitch well on 3 days rest in Toronto, I'm expecting the same from him, Our bats need to wake up, tonight. For game 5, I hope it's not Bauer, I noticed in game 2, He shook off Perez on almost every first pitch sign, then had the nerve to say in the post game press conference, " We stuck with the game plan", Perez said, "We did not stick to the plan". Last night we got extremely lucky, tonight we really need this one too, with our small rotation.

He should have worried about Bauer's ego next year and started Ryan Merritt. Who did not shake off Perez once in his start, when he shut out Toronto in his innings of work.

i agree that Bauer overthinks his sequencing and uses too many pitches but he was serviceable in his last start, the really bad ab he gave away to Rizzo though was pretty awful
