3 starts in 9 days by Kluber? The best to hope for is 1 run from the offense, 3 scoreless innings from Kluber, 2 scoreless innings from Shaw, 2 scoreless innings from Miller, and 2 scoreless innings from Allen.

PECOTA has the Tribe as a 51% chance to win tonight.
So we got that goin' for us.
Honestly, it will be hard to stomach another Game 7 loss for the Tribe. Of all the Cleveland teams, including the Browns who became the Ravens, i've been to more Indians games than Browns and Cavs combined x 15. Part of me grew up in old Municipal Stadium. As jaded a sports fan as I currently am, really only caring about my fantasy teams and the Buckeyes, it would be the cheap thrill of a lifetime to see the Cuyahoga Warriors go balls-deep on the rest of MLB.
Please. Please please please please please please please.
GO TRIBE!

^^^ good luck with that.Tonight we'll have to out hit the Cubs. Kluber is just okay on 3 days rest, As we saw in game 4. I'm not expecting a game 1 performance out of him tonight, Hope I'm wrong. Can't believe Chisenhall is in tonight's line up, Please release him. We're in a tremendous slump, Don't know if we're capable of out hitting them. Cubs made a living on their offense this season.

As many LOB in scoring position, Bauer should have gotten the W. So many opportunities lost in that one.

I think after the season that the tribe release Napoli and McCallister. This is because of the continual strike outs by Napoli and pouring gasoline on the fire that McCallister is supposed to put out. Now watch, Napoli gets the most important hit tonight (This AM). I know Napoli is supposed to be a great teammate and all that, but I get tired of watching whiff after whiff.

Shaw made me nervous from the start when called upon, Should have used Bauer after the rain delay, not bring Shaw back in. Cubs are an offensively a tough team, Good hitting can beat good pitching.

Bauer was pitching well, I agree, they should have left him continue.
The rain delay was just what the Cubs needed. The Tribe and 42,000 fans were rocking Progressive Field up to that point....then momentum was lost. Great, great series.
Heard comments from so many guys that were not fans of either team say this was perhaps the most entertaining World Series they could ever recall.

During the rain delay it was reported that the Cubs' players gathered together and psyched themselves up by talking what they could do. What did the Indians do?

Brian Shaw is not the guy to have in there at crunch time. I had a terrible feeling from the second he took the mound.
I wish the last batter would have been a little more patient so Davis could steal second. Agreed---the rain hurt us more than them.
This years team was last years Cavs,, but They sure made October fun.

A friend told me he is in jail for hitting a crippled old lady who told him Thursday -- wait till next year! LOL.
Anyway, from a losers perspective, didn't ever expect the Tribe to get this far but a darn shame blow a 3-1 series lead. We had some gaping holes, as pointed out in this post-season perspective from a Washington Post writer re: Lonnie Chisensh..t:
"For perspective, the Indians spent $302,777 for each of Chisenhall’s postseason hits or $209,615 for each of his strikeouts. While his performance wasn’t necessarily awful – and his salary is far from astronomical – within the context of Cleveland’s payroll Chisenhall underperformed relative to his salary and those of his teammates.
Same article also cited Bauer as way underperforming in the postseason relative to his meager salary. For me, Bauer is tradebait along with Chisenhall.

As far as sports go, no team is entitled to go to a World Series after being in it the previous year. The Royals were beaten by the Giants and then gritted through the 2015 season to beat the Mets in the WS. Could it happen to the tribe next year? We did have an "October to remember" as Tom Hamilton did preview in an advertisement.

Took the Tribe 4 months to bring back the gloom LeBron fought so hard to erase. Lol OIC no gloom here, i'm proud of the Tribe this is a team that lost 2/3s of it's starting rotation and still rolled the AL and gave the best team in baseball BY FAR all they could handle, the Cubs couldn't beat Chief in 7 games, they needed 7+ thankful for a great season and looking forward to next year, hopefully we can plug some of our OF holes (Michael Brantley, Bradley Zimmer) because that was our big weakness imho...in seasons past it has been 3rd base but with Ramirez showing out in 2016 I think that problem has been solved get Brantley back, get Carrasco back, get Salazar back, get Zimmer up before the break and get him invested...get Chis on the bench as a super-utility, keep Rajai as and Guyer as our 4th and 5th OF, get Lindor with another season under his belt...fix Yan Gomes's swing, please, and don't mess with Joe-boo i'd like to see us get another bat but the main thing imho is to not mess up this team's chemistry, just let them get healthy and then accent GO TRIBE!

In the post season everyone in the offensive lineup under-preformed just as badly as Chisenhall if not worse, except for Lindor and Perez, Napoli was the worst. Only 2 players hit for a higher average than Chisenhal in the regular season, Lindo and Ramirez.

The loss hurts, no doubt. The last half of that game was some pretty intense times.
Team was stretched thin and still managed to overachieve. Like a few of you mentioned, few expected them to even get close to 'one game away from a title'.
It's hard to not give Francona a lot of the credit for gettting this team where he did. Yeah, Kluber, Miller and the pen were pretty dominant at times, but the overriding feeling is that Francona, between both his managerial skills and his personality, was the glue that brought this team together. In a small market, having the right manager is likely more important than teams in larger markets. Even given that, it blows my mind that he was run out of Boston. I like him, I hope he sticks around a long time.

I hope the Thousands and Thousands of Cleveland "fans" who sold their tickets to an event that may not happen again in their lifetime which is a Game 6 and game 7 to the World Series---enjoy reading and watching replays about the Cubs win. Had to be a little disheartening to the Cleveland players to see that. Then again---they didn't come out very good all season. I guess it's their prerogative to do so,,,but it had to give the Cubs a little extra zip seeing and hearing so many cheering for them in what should have been a hostile environment.

Always loved Joe Madden, loved him at Tampa, where he had the Rays, with one of the major leagues tightest budgets, overachieving and excelling. We are witnessing the same exact thing happening with Terry Francona at Cleveland, while the gold plated, big money organizations sit at home, scratching their collective heads....lol

Two tickets, it was disclosed, went for an amazing price tag of $20,000 each! Them crazy Cubs fans.......... Watching the big plays by the Cubs and the loud roar from the fans, made one think they were at Wrigley.

Watching the big plays by the Cubs and the loud roar from the fans, made one think they were at Wrigley. There were A LOT of tickets available. A friend's son had 4 season tickets. He sold tickets during the regular season to help defray their cost. Season ticket holders were given first opportunity to buy tickets for the post season. There were not that many season ticket holders this year. They could buy up to twice as many tickets. He bought 8 tickets for every home game, sold the extra 4 for every home game, and made a HUGE profit. I guess the lesson here is buy season tickets. My niece and her husband are big Indians fans. Her husband bought 2 tickets for the first game of the playoffs, online the day before the game, for a reasonable price. The guy doing the selling said they had A LOT of tickets and asked if he would be interested in 8 tickets for a discounted price.
