THE TRUTH Mt. Vernon 420..Harding 379 Wooster 407......Buckeye Valley 308 Mansfield 387....River Valley 236 Ashland 349......Ontario 222 Madison 333......Galion 163 Lexington 279....North Union 160 W. Holmes 276...Pleasant 153 NO COMPARISON. From largest to smallest, every OCC school is 100-170 larger except for Mt.V and Harding, with Mt.V 41 larger Clear Fork 188. They went from BY FAR the smallest school in a league to a middle sized school in a league. A no brainer. You've admitted the number of those doing the talking is minuscule. The truth? When did you last speak to a Clear Fork Parent? OR a Clear Fork Coach? OR a Clear Fork player? My guess is you do not know what the truth is when it comes to what Clear Fork wanted. THE TRUTH, would be the huge differences in enrollments between the 2 leagues. The #1 priority for getting out of the OCC.

You admit the very few doing the talking don't have a clue. Give it up, move on. If you think the old timers in the valley are clueless, then you are showing your ignorance to the topic at hand. And I will move because of that. You would be the ignorant one if you think "old timers" who don't know how to operate a computer aren't clueless compared the ones who do. You were the one who told us they know nothing about the internet. That makes them potentially less knowledgeable than elementary students who have a computer in their pockets, in the class room and multiple ones at home.

Build it and they will come. It's called recruiting by most. Only by those not knowledgeable. I'm waiting for specific cases AT Ontario from you as opposed to your innuendos and untruths. CRICKETS.

Did you hear any complaints from people in Orrville? Someone has to be the furthest from other schools in a league. Clear Fork was the furthest South and West in the OCC, they are now the furthest to the East in the MOAC. They will now be a middle sized school in the MOAC instead of by far the smallest in the OCC, making traveling for the VAST majority easier to do. The OCC is not a good fit for DV schools. So, less than 1% of the people in the Clear Fork district? And your think this is worthy of a snide remark?? Over four years, I did not hear one complaint from anyone in Ontario about driving to Lake Erie for games. I don't expect to hear any complaints about driving to Marion County for games either. The administration made a great decision to choose the NOL over the OCC and the MOAC over the OCC. Move on, look for another DI-DII school for the OCC. OR maybe you can talk Lucas, Crestline or Loudonville into joining the OCC, since they now are the only 3 schools that play football in their current league. AND they will all have MUCH shorter drives to games due to playing schools in the 4 corners of the state to fill in their schedule. AND attendance would be MUCH greater in the OCC, compared to crowds from Waterloo, Lakota, Arlington, Grove City Catholic, Ridgedale, St. Joe Central Catholic, St. Wendy and SMCC. Yes You only associate with the whiners?? The minuscule minority?

Once again you are looking for an argument that is not here. I am simply telling you that some of the loyal athletic supporters are not happy with this move. This change was not driven by a mass from the community. It is felt to be the push by 1 coach and a few of his influential supporters and a temporary AD. Those are not my words. Once again you talk to less than a handful of people, a minuscule minority, then speak for the ENTIRE school district when you're an outsider . A big part of your admitted to playing an internet game.

Do I see anything changing, not anytime soon. Do I think they had a better option, never crossed my mind. Did I post some thoughts of a few diehard fans during a conversation, yes and nothing more than that. Posting stats and assuming what the District is thinking without speaking with anyone is ridiculous claim. Let's see if a response can be made without any insults, put downs or demeaning remarks about anyone.

AFTER those 3 posts I started speaking as spoken to. Your thought of being civil is a good idea. We'll see how long you can do as you suggest. We will know when you've fallen off the wagon, because then I WILL have to start speaking as spoken to again.

Is there a difference between saying someone is showing ignorance and calling someone ignorant?

You're doing the assuming what a District is thinking by speaking to a minuscule number of people. I made NO claims, I spoke for NO ONE. You're right, I never claimed to speak to anyone. I wouldn't mention it if I had. You're the one making unsubstantiated claims that you have. And the thoughts of a minuscule minority is a good sampling of the other 4000 people in the District. When in reality much worse than some political poles.

Good luck to all of the MOAC teams next year. It should be a really competitive league from top to bottom.
I hope the recent changes work out and the conference continues to evolve into something that lasts for a long time.
