Watched the video of the Lex Wooster post game in the stands. Anybody have any info on this and what started it? Interesting how Norwalk continues to stay out of the cellar dweller talk from Portwalk,Clywalk Oregwalk,,whatever he goes by. But,,he's happy to throw Willard in there (which they deserve ) at every chance. As if 2-6 Norwalk (who rolled hapless Willard by 3 points last night) doesn't stink just about as bad. Not a clue what your talking about Buckeye Norwalk is not, nor will they be in the cellar of the NOL??? They actually haven't been at the bottom of the league in nearly two decades. In fact in the last 14 years Norwalk has had only 3 losing NOL records, and their worst season (4-10 08/09) yet they still avoided the bottom by finishing ahead of . As for mentioning Willard in the prior post they are, and will be the bottom of the barrel in the NOL and I was using that to compare to the SBC that's all.

Does "boom" mean that OH is good or Perkins is not as good as we thought? OH is NOT good you take it from there... So you are saying the SBC is not as strong as other may think. I can agree with that.

Port Your boys are looking at 6th place in a 7 team league. I'm fully aware of my Flashes being 7th, but after last nights game which was anybody's game with 10 seconds to go,,I'm not sure that Norwalk isn't worthy of being called a cellar dweller as well.

Oak Harbor has the two best freshman guards in the area. Now they are both playing varisty they will be very good going forward. Not a typical OH team.

He's has very little first hand info these days, since he's a bandwagon fan. I understand he hasn't seen many Norwalk games since their State Championship. In the Haraway Thomas years, he rarely if ever missed a game

So call them what you will they are not good not sure why we're discussing this though?

As long as Eric Sweet is coaching OH, they're not going anywhere. Just look at his unbelievably terrible record. Can't believe he hasn't been fired.

Looking at the OH basketball records, this was the normal long before the current coach was hired.

5 or 6? Have they had a winning season in the last 10-12?

I challenge anyone to do much better than he has given the talent he has at his disposal. I think Sweet is a great coach and I hope he gets it done. To me one of the hallmarks of a great coach is getting your kids to play hard no matter the circumstances. Oak Harbor wasn't playing hard under Christie. Coach Sweets teams always play hard. If the talent ever rises I expect him to be very successful.

Clyde plays Sandusky, Shelby and Bellevue yet. PC plays Norwalk, TC and yes even Willard on the road. plays PC as does TC and both of those are at NOL home courts. Sandusky play Perkins and Huron at Home yet so by my count I believe the NOL is looking at 9-1 & possibly 10-0 so talk to me then...

Honest question. Has Willard ever been this bad in basketball? 4 points at half a week or so ago? I cannot say I remember it ever being this bad.

SBC is better than NOL this year in bbal. Vermilion, Perkins, and Edison are good teams. I think vermilion beats anyone in the nol. Sandusky is okay but they lack size and Elyria was Good. Not if Vermilion can't beat Margaretta by more than 3, Perkins loses to OH and Huron beats Edison. Bellevue and TC are better this year than they've been in several years. You mean the Bellevue team that shad trouble at home with a 1-8 Plymouth team eaking out a win by the score of 48-45. Its tough to base are feelings off of one game though but at the end of the year you basically are what your record indicates. I do agree that bellevue is improved though.

They do stink but their smell is not as putred as Willards and much of their stench is created by injuries to two VERY GOOD Players who are done for the season. This Norwalk teams will struggle to win games but without the injuries they were a .500 team.

Again only using a few games to base this on but if Perkins can beat Bellevue b y 23 points like they did earlier this year 63-40, their certainly capable of knocking off Ontario who lost to Bellevue.

Willard has 3 kids injured right now that haven't played a single game. One of them probably would've been a starter and is a returning letterman.

I know nothing about Willard's kids however Haraway started and played very well last season (floor leader) and would have been Norwalk's best player imo... Rinner prior to the knee issues was the best player in the Senior class for Norwalk. No excuses just facts about those players mentioned...

facts? FACTS!? Are we going to start going to FACTS! on this site? IMO, both teams would be better if they were at full strength. AND I feel the standings would not be the same as they are now.
