lol and you took the guy I was targeting. bwahahah! Hey you had 5 minutes to jump ahead and snatch him! Pick was in, but in my hurry I misspelled his name. the 4:36pm was the edit time. which is why it now says 5:01.

It's that time in the draft when you take high risk/reward type players. Acuna might have a Robles ascension up the ranks come next year.

going over menus at work. if anybody is interested we're adding Chinese take-out to the ballpark this summer. South, send your overlords this way for the worst general tso's chicken they've ever had. the noodles are pretty good, the sweet and sour chicken isn't bad, but the gen tso's is pretty terrible.

Pisses me off I have to come into the office Monday-Thursday like a normal person. I'm sure California traffic sucks but nothing like construction on our highways that never ends to make your commute a living hell.

TRADE:
Pronk gets: Matt Harvey and Keon Broxton
DR. T gets: Pronk's 3rd round pick in next year's active draft and his next pick in this year's minor draft. If the trade is approved I am on the clock in the minor's draft.

I'll have to add all the players, but that shouldn't take forever. I'm not sure how espn is goi to like being over roster size so those teams may have to keep their over rosters players in an offline list until the season starts. With that being said, I think I'll move the 'trim to max roster size' date up to something like 2 days before opening day....just in case something goes wrong. I'll send a league email.

Bought a CNG just to have HOV access. Have had several talk recently about relaxing their in out times due to traffic or offering work from home days. No dice.

Yeah, definitely understand your struggle. First job I've been at that has allowed me to work from home some days or leave early, its a new concept to me. If you have a regular desk job, I think most companies should allow a work from home day(would help cut down on the daily traffic jam too). You can easily get your work done at home the same as in the office. Just appearances matter more to some companies.

Well, I'm not just battling some individuals here, it's like I battling an entire culture...a culture that works the most hours of any in the industrialized world. Korean work culture is a 'live to work' culture as opposed to the 'work to live' culture in the US. The dispatched guys already seem to look down upon Americans cause they leave at 5 when they stay til 10-midnight, despite the many conversations I've had about the relaxed turn the tech industry has taken over the years. They just don't realize that when they require a BS to work here, they are competing for employees with places that are more likely to have a relaxed work culture. Even the tech side of a lot of other automotive companies are doing the same. Continental gives you 4 work from home days a month. FCA lets you set your own hours. It's a struggle to get them to listen, but I was the first American hired here for a company that is trying to westernize itself, so my opinion does have some weight.....just not as much as I'd like,

They work their employees to the ground, he constantly has meetings late at night and works till 9pm most days.

Google tells me 2 hours and 24 minutes to bike to work It takes me about 30 minutes. One of the prime reasons I don't work in Silicon valley. I enjoy work/life balance and being able to cycle. It's all a trade off and what not.

7-0. Dr.T on the clock, you've got about 4 hours left! I think it's only fair to have Dr.T's clock start from the moment the trade was approved, not when TL23's clock started. Unless we have a rule stating otherwise.
