I have always been of the opinion that if an owner has put money into a team they should be allowed to manage as they want, even if they are bad decisions. Collusion is so difficult to prove but when it's egregious, a good commish will call it out correct the behavior. Only hole there is if a commish is one of the colluding parties. Then that's about the end of a league.
That's one of the things I think is good and healthy about this league. Owners are freely making moves/trades that they think will improve their team whether its in season or for the next. Sometimes we scratch our heads at moves but more often than not I lean towards at least one of the owners knows something I don't....sharks everywhere...

Yeah and some times emotion overcomes logic and strategy. Like "I'm tired of this guy being on my team so I'm just going to give him away". AKA Cutch and Gray for me earlier this year. And I agree, I wouldn't vote no on a deal just because it's a bad deal for someone. Everyone has the right to manage his team as he sees fit. If I suspected serious collusion I would: post about it on here and text CEO, who I'm sure would already be on top of it. |

Christ, this all reminds me of the time we had the league with My2Sons and he had his son trade him some good players for nothing mid season and then acted like he did nothing wrong. IIRC, he made two waiver adds, then within 5 minutes, traded them to his son for good players.

I don't think trades will likely ever get vetoed. I think people use vetos here sometimes as an 'efff you'
I think the closest we came to a veto was Jose Fernandez for Emilion Bonfacio and Justin Smoak. I think that was one vote away.
