I'm going to try to get some things around right now, including:
MLB 1st Year Draft Player Poll(Possibly including following Implementation Date Poll)
Scheduling
Lottery
Organizational Depth Chart
Active Draft Thread Update
Minors Draft Thread Update
Obviously, that is a full plate, but Im going to try to knock a lot of it out today.
Once I can get all that set up:
An Active Draft Start Time will be issued.
Trading Open(*Note* Rosters remain locked[no adds, drops])
When/if I get to the Lottery today, I will make another post beforehand, and probably try to contact at least one other owner to see if I can set up a way to watch. If I can't figure that out, I'll video it and send it to a few of you.

Scheduling is finished. Please check the Scheduling Thread on the ESPN site format. Format is same as 2015.
Please please please make sure your schedule is in the correct format and you are playing the correct teams. It is just too time consuming for me to go through each team to make sure.

does anyone know how many games a player has to play at a certain position to gain eligibility? i'm looking but i cannot find this nugget Maybe Schwarber will have C eligibility by October! hehe just in time for me to defend my title next year <B |

Minors Rosters are updated with Minors Keepers. Check to make sure yours are correct.

Difficulty of schedule (Hardest to Easiest): Method A: Apply a value of 10 to the first place team of last years standings, down to 1 for last place. Then multiple times played vs that person times their standing summed over all the weeks. Then normalized to one. 1. Pronk: 1.000 2. Votto: 0.931 3. Fister: 0.877 3. QCC: 0.877 3. Lastros: 0.877 6. Upton: 0.869 7. Brownies: 0.862 8. CEO: 0.769 9. Tig: 0.762 10. Dr.T: 0.715 Method B: Multiply times played vs that person times that opponents final PCT for last year summed over all the weeks. Then normalized to one. 1. Pronk: 1.000 2. Votto: 0.971 3. Upton: 0.960 4. Fister: 0.959 5. Lastros: 0.950 6. QCC: 0.945 7. Brownies: 0.944 8. CEO: 0.920 9. Tig: 0.906 10. Dr. T: 0.896 To determine how "unfair" the schedule is I calculated the easiest possible schedule (following the rules of 3 IDx3, 3 ODx2, and 2 OD) and then subtracted the easiest from actual and then divided it by the easiest possible: Difficulty Above Min: 1. Upton: 13% harder than easiest possible 2. Votto: 12% harder than easiest possible 3. Fister: 8.57% harder than easiest possible 4. Pronk: 7.43% harder than easiest possible . . . Dr.T: 3.3% harder than easiest possible CEO: 4.2% harder than easiest possible Tig: 5.3% harder than easiest possible Did the same thing but made the schedule as hard as possible for the people with the easiest schedule, and calculated how far off from it they were. Ease Below Max: 1. Dr. T: 8.8% below hardest possible schedule 2. CEO: 7.4% below hardest possible schedule 2. Tig: 5.7% below hardest possible schedule 4. Brownies: 4.2% below hardest possible schedule . . . Upton: 1.80% below hardest possible schedule Votto: 0.83% below hardest possible schedule Fister: 2.56% below hardest possible schedule So bottom line... Votto and Upton pretty much have the hardest possible schedule and Dr.T has the easiest! |

I dont like seeing the top teams at the bottom, as far as hardest schedule. However, playoff teams also benefit, in that they are playoff teams and thats one less playoff team they need to play. Also meaning, say PRNK...it says he has the hardest schedule, but some of that is they fact he doesn't play the (1)10th rated team either (x3), (x2), or (x1)
I dont know....I thought I was done thinking for today...but it seems like both those lists look almost like the inverse of the standings.

Not gonna lie, I just copied the schedule from 2015. Didn't check to see whos playing who.
Ideally, each year the playoff teams would play OD playoff teams (x2), but with the schedule so intertwined, it becomes a pain in the *** keeping structure. I can look and see if there are any easy fixes.
I think with enough variance in the league, it shouldn't matter much, but I would like to figure out an easy way to possible cycle through which OD opponents you play only one time each year.

Ok. I think we're in a better spot now.
Season opens now with Title Rematch and 3rd Place game rematch.
Also, all playoff teams should now be playing OD playoff teams twice.
I'm done for today I think.
Look over your schedules again. I think I was able to make all the changes in week 1. Make sure your format still fits.
