Shitshow by Galion. There was a bad call at end of first half that shifted things. Couple injuries on Galion’s side, but they’re getting their a ss handed to them. Shelby may win the league.
Shelby threw 2 picks and fumbled a kick early or it would have been worse.
Unintelligent of you per usual. Those CB numbers are meaningless and you know it when it comes to Ontario. You KNOW the best basketball and football players in Ontario have open enrolled TO Senior! And some done unethically, ask Chioke. WHY in the hell should Ontario join the OCC after that and make it even easier for them?? YET you opine!
LOL...NO ONE open enrolls to Ontario to play football. NO All-District athletes have open enrolled to Ontario to play play any sport except maybe soccer. They open enroll for the academics, decide to try football, stand on the sidelines for 2-3 years then maybe contribute as Junior or Seniors. PROVE otherwise. Joe has retired, no open enrolling for basketball.
You mentioned Joe. He said yesterday he can see the reasoning behind Ontario joining the local league mentioned in Richland Source.
I don’t see NP lasting very long. I think it was just a temporary fix for the time being. I honestly think Shelby and Ontario would be very good fits for the OCC. I know a lot of people associated with Ontario would be against that though.
Many Ontario old timers see themselves as a small township school. They do not see that they are in the same sports division as Mansfield for many sports.
without the open enrollment they still would be. Open enrollment for the most part has done nothing for them athletic wise. Both schools are happy where they are and could care less about the occ.

OCC is at 7. Let’s see who has the least amount of fear to join up. MOAC would find a replacement if Shelby left. Willard could always reunite with their old buddy Galion and join the MOAC.
It would be an ideal location and would be great for the local economy. The only problem is finding workers. And there’s not nearly enough housing for more people. That being said, I’d love to see it happen.
You are being too nice. If Lex doesn’t take Ontario to the shed, then Lex has a problem.
I feel like we have seen this talk before. Define the Shed? I've never seen it as "a problem" to get a win. Not that long ago I read comments about Ontario having good depth and good shooters and confidence and good coaching. Has that all changed?
Does anyone see the Lexington at Ontario game next Tuesday as a good game or should Lexington take care of business?
That is why they play the games. Ontario at home should be a factor and they now have 4 days to prep for Lexington while they have 2 games this weekend. Coach Mergel coming from the OCC could factor into his prep being familiar with Lex.

As I said in the preseason, the non conference games for Shelby and RV will show how good those teams are. Both teams should have 12 “gimme” wins from conference play. Even at .500 in non conference would have those two teams at 16-6, 17-5, 18-4. Ontario could have a a strong second half. Marion is still unpredictable.
Is it me or does seem like a common them for the MOAC in football and basketball. There’s always a good team or two in MOAC play but once they step outside the MOAC it’s over with. I just don’t see how Shelby or Ontario will get better in this league.
They’re not getting better in any other league.
