I know St. Paul will be tall again this year. It looks like their shortest starter will be 6-1.

Why is it that kids are willing to travel 20-30 minutes to a Private School but not to a Public School???

I think IF St.Paul wins their first game, they have a very tough potential second round game vs Tiffin Calvert. St Paul beat Calvert earlier in the year, but Calvert was playing without their starting QB, and Calvert is playing really well right now.

Does Calvert have their first string QB back from injury?

Time for the Tigers to start selling and start over. It's going to be a long road back until we have a contender again.

The post player that played at St. Paul in junior high and at WR last year as a freshman has supposedly transferred to Norwalk. I heard this from a very reliable source.

wellington, very informative analysis on St.Paul. Tiffin Calvert would be another team that would have a good chance to beat St. Paul this year, along with Ashland Crestview. Calvert was young and talented last year and the game is at Tiffin this year.

Did the current Coach (can't think of his name) get fired, resign, take a new job? What happened?

Hoops, my bad. I did not know Griffith was playing hurt that night. I still think New London would have won on that night.

Hoops, agree with your above comment, but New London did beat Western at Western with Griffith playing.

Huron looked good and very quick the one time I saw them play. I don't know if they can play with Perkins and Vermilion, but I could see them ending up somewhere in the top 3 in the SBC.

After watching last nights NL at WR game, I would vote Ryan Lane for P.O.Y. and Tom Howell as Coach of the year. I know its early but NL looked very impressive last night.
