I don’t know how long the Clyde coach will be suspended but he was acting like a jackass on social media and clearly someone in the district had seen enough.

Sandusky scrimmages Toledo St. Francis tonight at home.
I think Sandusky is being somewhat undervalued coming into this season. A ton of talent returning but the schedule is tougher. Anytime you have a talent like Stewart you’re going to have a chance. If the defense is solid and QB play improved, they will be a tough out each week.
I don’t want to call week 1 a must win but the way the schedule stacks up, I think it’s a crucial game.

I think Perkins would be a great spot for this game.

I’m guessing it comes down to the wire unless one team decides to turn it over 2-3 times.

Is #52 for Sandusky a freshmen?

I think Norwalk/Sandusky are capable of competing with anyone left in D3.

Norwalk wins by multiple scores. A running clock second half wouldnt surprise me. Not surprised.

I thought it was suppose to be too much Cade Stover but it turned into too much Raymore. I thought Lexington found a new player before tonight’s game.

Clyde should win by multiple scores.
River has a few athletes but should be dominated in the trenches.

I said this awhile back but Sandusky’s defense was flawed from the start and I’m shocked it wasn’t exposed earlier in the season against Fremont. The 3-3 stack that Franklin runs is terrible from a schematic standpoint. Then some decent coaches realized they can’t stop the run and they got beat up. Coaching matters and Franklin continues to underachieve with the talent he has.
Anyways, I went to the Bay Village/Rocky River game earlier this season and I would be shocked if Sandusky doesn’t win.

First road test for Sandusky so I think it could be interesting. I didn’t realize how young Sandusky was until I watched the Bowsher game on BCSN.
Blue Streak fans should be very excited for the foreseeable future.

I mean obviously a team is going to need good players. Sandusky isn’t going to lose to some marginal talented team.

I think the Sandusky DL/LBs have some very good players but I also think a well coached team can take advantage of the 3-3 stack they run on most downs.

Carter changes up his offense on a yearly basis depending on what type of talent he has.

The Sandusky D has created a lot of timely turnovers and is very good in coverage. If teams can run the football and limit turnovers you have a chance against the Sandusky D. If you get into 2nd/3rd and long it could be a tough night because that Sandusky secondary is legit.
Then on offense, if you can figure out a way to stop Stewart from breaking the long runs then you probably will be in the game. Way easier said, than done.

No, Xavier Parker.
He’s only a junior and he continues to come up with big play after big play. What’s his measureables and is he being recruited?

I had a chance to watch a replay of the Fremont game on BCSN.
A few thoughts.... 1. I think Franklin needs to figure out a way to get Sherman a few more touches. Jet sweep, quick screen, etc. He’s an elusive runner.
2. The secondary is very good. Stewart will only improve it once he returns from injury.
3. Is Parker a division 1 player? He’s only a junior but man you recognize his ability immediately when watching Sandusky play.

Also, spending a Friday or Saturday night away from your wife/kids after a work week isn’t exactly appealing to a large demographic.
Now, if you could make a could hundred bucks per game then it might change some minds.

Any idea when the other Stewart is returning from the broken wrist?
He would be a nice addition for the second half of the season.

I’m not a huge Franklin fan but I think the best decision he made this year was rolling with the Junior QB as the starter. It’s going to pay off huge for them next season where I think Sandusky has a chance to field a tremendous team.

I haven’t posted in awhile but this thread has forced me out of retirement.
1. Stewart is a division 1 prospect. Short but built like a brick shithouse and has the speed that coaches want.
2. The word stopped shouldn’t be used when a defense gives up 300+ yards and 5 touchdowns to a running back. Did Huron have moments where they contained Stewart? Sure... but that’s quite a difference from stopping him.
3. If Sandusky can develop an average at best passing attack, it will help Stewart as the season goes on.

SMCC is missing 3 kids the first 11 games due to transfer rules. I believe 2/3 are starters. They also lost the Mormina kid in the pre-season with a torn ACL.

After 9 weeks...
#4 from Sandusky (Sophomore) is the best player I've watched in the area this season. Short but compact, strong, and the kid can fly. If his grades are in order, he will be playing division 1.

I haven't posted in awhile...
This isn't a knock on Shelby but a win over 6-3 Bellevue and 7-2 Edison doesn't exactly wow me. Maybe if they rattle off 5 straight wins in the State Playoffs we can talk about them against the 1999 Perkins team.
Also, people forgot how physically dominant that 1999 Perkins team was.

I meant Jones needs a #2, #3 on his list of teams to choose from. OSU, Florida State, etc. are just being mentioned to add bit of drama to the decision.

Jones is going to Michigan. When you schedule an announcement you always need a #2, #3, etc. What fun would it be if there wasn't a second hat on the table lol....
