I keep looking at the scores against TCC and St. Francis Desales and it screams blowout but crazier things have happened.

I would think PC and Jonathan Alder are pretty comparable this season in terms of talent. If PC plays good football I could see a similar score.
If PC gets trounced it's because they won't hold up in the trenches. I think athletically they aren't that far behind Hartley.

If Sandusky plays a clean game (no turnovers, few penalties, etc.) they should win this game by 14+.

Ole Tony couldn't get it done last year with similar talent and schedule.
Once the talent returns, the W's will as well.

Running clock seems like a stretch especially if Edison doesn't turn the ball over. If that ground game is clicking they can eat up some clock.

Clyde probably wins but I think Edison is sitting in great position for another deep playoff run.

I think Sandusky wins but I'm expecting a very close game. Lorain is one of the few teams on the schedule that can match Sandusky athletically/physically.

Bellevue has never received home cooking.
Also, the game was officiated fine. Bellevue couldn't make enough plays and fumbling the opening kickoff of the second half was a game changer.

Nasonti gets to see how the Streak defended Shelby's spread attack the week prior, Nasonti destroyed Clyde which he got the Clyde V. Ashland film the week before showing Nasonti how Clyde defended spread. --Just some food for thought. If Sandusky turns the ball over 6 times I guess the results could be similar.

To me, Perkins beating Port Clinton wouldn't be an upset.

For Sandusky, I look back at the Huron game. Mistakes, mistakes, and more mistakes. This kept a bad Huron team in the game somewhat. If that happens against a good team you're probably going to lose.

Sandusky has speed everywhere. QB, WR, and two sophomore backs who are quick and can take it the distance. I don't think anyone in this area has close to the caliber of skilled position players Sandusky has.
There's a formula for Bellevue to win. Dominate line of scrimmage, control clock, don't turn ball over.

Bellevue will try to win this game on the ground. Work the clock, move the chains, and keep the Sandusky O off the field.
For Sandusky....limit the mistakes and don't turn the ball over. Very few teams in this area (if any) can match the speed of Sandusky. Bellevue will have to win this game at the line of scrimmage.

Shelby has to be able to tackle in the open field. If Shelby can't contain the Sandusky athletes it could be a long night for them. Perkins has some decent athletes and Sandusky made them look like they were running in sand.
I think it comes down to mistakes/turnovers. If Sandusky plays a clean game I think they win.

It happened in the Texas/Cal game last night as well....
What are replay officials looking at? It's clear as day these guys dropped the ball before reaching the end zone.

The skull session is a must if you're taking him for the first time...
I actually never go inside and get a seat, I stand by the entrance tunnel where the team and band comes into the arena. If you arrive early enough, you will get a spot right on the railing. Your kid will be five feet from Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes.
The band will be rocking coming down that tunnel and you will be jacked up from that lol.
I can't remember which gate they come in at....apologize

Young roster but have veterans at key positions (QB most importantly).

If you win, the casual/local football fans show up.
If you stink, it's the parents, grand parents, and the band parents leave after half.

Huron football conversations....
1. Can we feed this team tonight? 2. Where's all the H-team members? 3. Think the stands will be full tonight?
The new head coach must be loving life. Can he still get his baseball job back?

Here's a few things....
1. Strohl left because Perkins wouldn't bend over backwards and give him a higher level administrators position. 2. Offensively last season Perkins was prone to turnovers and penalties. I thought that was pretty obvious and I'm guessing I could find multiple threads discussing that on the old forum. The difference last year was they had better players to overcome those situations but it still bit them in the $ss. This season they have a lot less talent and the room for error is minimal if they want to beat decent teams.
