Ontario and harding look like top 2 teams to me, who knows tho. Marion star just released article. I see Titus Douglas is playing for pleasant. Just a fast kid, defense. ABout all. His younger brother is playing for Harding. Varsity as a sophomore im expecting.

that is not ontario's roster. Shaquan Coburn and Logan Houle are both on varsity. both are move ins so you probably didn't want to list them

Seen Houle on multiple occasions recent in private workouts. He can put the ball on a string for sure. Wasted some time going to oak hill though.

Itd be nice if can get some updates Thursday night from around moac. I won’t be making trip to Olentangy for harding, tangy has a couple small d1-d2 shooters that will drill harding, lost by like 20 last year probably like 30 this year lol. Saturday I will see them play marysville though.

Never heard of Shaquon, I know of Houle. Since they're "move ins" they can't play until after the 11th game of the season. They're not even allowed to play in scrimmages. Neither you nor I can say with certitude that either will play Varsity. Just to satisfy your weirdness, I will add Houle. Since I never heard of nor have seen Shaquon and YOU know him, give me his height and grade and I'll add him as well, for your weirdness. If I don't hear from you on Shaquon, you're also worthless in this endeavor.

Last year was kinda down and probably this year. 3 years ago moac was pretty decent I’d say. But yeah, Ontario should compete I’m sure.

it is you who is worthless as you clearly do not know the roster you claim to know and Coburn is a 6'or 6'1 10 grader and could be a starter.

Worthless? Could it be that you are "clueless"?

^^^ you are wrong pp. Mason Campbell is a move in to the Madison basketball team. is he sitting 11 games? do you know where these kids live? do you know where they moved from? do you know what was their reason for the moves?

OR you again show how poor you semantics are. In either case it makes your posts worthless. Allow me to educate you. "Move-ins" are students who have MOVED into a school district. They are allowed to play right away. Open Enrollment Students ARE NOT "move-ins" they have not MOVED into a school district. They must sit half of the games in every sport they played at the former school district. At this point you nor I know for sure what roster the two OPEN ENROLLMENT students will be on after 11 games are played. Instead of complaining about an accurate roster. Make yourself useful and post Mansfield Senior's roster on the OCC forum In the case of Campbell he is not a "move-in", has't moved anywhere. Did not Open Enroll. The OHSAA allows one transfer from a private school to the public school district your family lives in. His family lives in the Madison School District.

averagejoe, As I read your post you are simply calling new players on a roster move ins. This may confuse some on here who get rather agitated when making sure the transfer rules are quoted exactly as written. Many of use will understand what you are saying but a few may not. Most would call them transfers.

I heard Galion will not be having a freshman team this year. The freshman that tried out will just be moved up to JV. I can't remember the last time Galion did not have a freshman team.

This is becoming more common with school that are not D1. Different reasons may contribute but some schools see less and less kids playing multiple sports.

In this case I think most of the kids have the same reason. It's not just the freshman numbers that are down. There are only 3 seniors and 5 juniors. I don't know the sophomore numbers yet.

Harding won’t have a player over 6’3 again this year. Wasn’t a big problem last year though, if you’re physical, athletic can make up for it.

The Jones kid at Ontario is 6'7 but other than that the tallest kid for most of the MOAC teams is probably around 6'3 or 6'4 this year.

The only Balogh team to make it to the State Finals didn't have a player over 6-1, but all could shoot 3-pointers. They lost in OT at Columbus to Orrville that had a 6-8 and 2 6-5s

averagejoe, As I read your post you are simply calling new players on a roster move ins. This may confuse some on here who get rather agitated when making sure the transfer rules are quoted exactly as written. Many of use will understand what you are saying but a few may not. Most would call them transfers. You knew what Joe meant by "move-ins" when you didn't know who they were, where they were from, what grade they were in, how long they've been at Ontario and what method they used?? Kids that "move-in"to a district CAN play right away. Open Enrollment students cannot. Thus the reason not to include Open Enrollment players on that roster. Someone might be looking for them on the floor the first half of the season, not see them, then rag on me for that. I never dreamed anyone would care about someone not being on that roster that wasn't allowed to play until half the season was over. IF they made the varsity, which no one knows for sure at this point. The implication was that I was embarrassed that they were "move-ins" and therefore didn't want to list them. Let me be perfectly clear. I am overjoyed that there is an unlimited number of families that want to get their kids into the Ontario District for many reasons, but I have empathy for those that don't get in every year because there isn't room for all of them. Since the inception of Open Enrolling. A "transfer" is now what Campbell did going from St.Petes to Madison. OR going from one high school to another high school within a large multi high school district in a major city. These days, of moving, Open Enrolling and transferring, transfers are the least used.

Went and watched the kid MH will miss the most tonight at Otterbein as Ellis as Marrietta came in and spanked the cardinals 86-60. My son is on Otterbeins team and him Ellis both got in late in game.

Have been keeping tabs on Ellis, Longstreth at the berg, hempy at Wooster starts for them. Some good d3 hoopers out there.

See Ellis made 3 his only shot of the game. Didn’t know your son played at otterbein, I’ll keep up on his stats now. Like to follow up with all moac alumni. Galion gents is Houston Blair still playing. Used to see him at the marion ymca sometimes he has some game!

Don’t see Blair on the roster, don’t see Tyler longstreth on Heidelberg, that’s to bad. That kid is one of the smoothest I’ve seen come from Marion County. I’m sure someone from Galion knows where Blair is now?

1st time I saw Tyler play was vs BV in 7th grade and like you said he was smooth. Reminded me of Pistol Pete with his hair and ball handling. Yes Ellis came in and hit a 3 from top of the key. Marrietta is real good and Otterbein plays mostly freshman and sophomores. saw Hempy play a couple times at Wooster last yr, that was my sons 2nd choice but wanted to stay close to home so he could see sister play at BV.
