You don't have to take my word for it. Look at the computer points. It's not even close. That's why CF was the 1 seed in the region and Shelby wasn't. Go ahead and line up the schedules last season and show me in any way, shape, or form how you figure that CF's schedule wasn't harder. Shelby's ooc schedule alone disproves your case. Div 7 Mohawk currently has more points than Columbian, Clyde, Sandusky and Cleveland Glenville. So you would say Mohawk is better than all of them. 2017Clear Fork accumulated 33.3333 points Archbishop Moeller had 17.45 You feel Clear Fork was a better team? 2016Colerain was 10-0 and had 40.15 points and lost in second round St X was 5-5 and had 21.1798 points and was State Champs You still claim Colerain was better? Points tell a story but they don't always tell the whole story. Oh I'm sorry, I thought that we were talking about their SCHEDULES. Is this another one of those times when you are proven wrong and try to change the topic and pretens like you were talking about something else?

Well then, might I point out that, D1 qb or not, this CF team has actually won more consecutive regular season games than even Shelby had at this time last year. I've seen plenty of teams make playoff runs and win championships without the luxury of a D1 qb. Also, by definition, every teams seniors have been together for years. So yes it is an apt comparison. Yes you may point that out. Because we both know their regular season has been easier. And we have both seen teams go 10-0 and be done in the second round. Talking about the schedule?

If you compare their schedules last season CF's was much harder. You can’t honestly think and make a claim to know something local football. Still talking about schedules

Yep, proven wrong and changing the topic. Only proving points to not mean better schedule. Oh Lord, you do realize that your points only reflect the teams that you beat right? So when we are comparing Shelby and CF from last season,2 UNDEFEATED teams, we are actually comparing their ENTIRE schedules. You seem to want to compare an undefeated small with larger schools with multiple losses for some reason. I'm not claiming that CF was better than Shelby last season just that their schedule was more difficult.

I'm saying that when the season ended Fredericktown, Ontario and Marion Harding were not as good as numerous teams on Shelby's schedule and Galion and River valley were close, but they received good points from them all. I'm glad both went 10-0 but if you gave coaches the option of what schedule to play, I think they take the Clear Fork schedule every year.

So now you think you're smarter than both Joe Eitel and calpreps. That's good to know. We are only talking about two teams here, 2017 Shelby and 2017 CF. Both teams were undefeated, so neither had "loses against better competition." There is no metric for you to use that can make an argument the CF's schedule last season wasn't harder. The computer points don't support it and neither does calpreps. Sorry, I'm not taking your word over theirs. You want to bring up Fredericktown, I'll bring up Willard. You bring up Norwalk, I'll bring up JA. According to calpreps Harding had the edge over OH, as did BV. Now, this season that would be a different story.

Drew Pasteur Shelby ranked 26 of 107 Clear Fork ranked 37 of 107 strength of schedule in D4 this year We're arguing over 2017. This season Harding and BV are worse and Lex and Huron are much improved so Shelby's is probably tougher.

I have never made such a stupid claim. Joe Eitel points measure who you have beat and who they have beat. It doesn't measure strength of schedule. BUT, calpreps as YOU mentioned does and it has the 2017 Shelby strength of schedule at 21.9 while the Clear Fork strength of schedule was 17.7. So Calpreps does say that Shelby played the harder schedule in 2017. I hope you can take their word over your opinion since you mention them as your reference.

Right now the Clear Fork SOS is a 2.6 and Shelby is a 5.2. I know it's the 2017 teams but the schools are the same.
