Didn't see that one coming. Congrats, Shelby, great win. I watched the game between Lima and Ashland would have picked Shelby at that time. But after Shelby was shut down for about 2 weeks in Dec I was thinking Lima should have the edge. With that said, against Ashland it did not look like the Lima teams of recent years. |

Shelby in the second and third quarters looked as competent as I've seen any Shelby team in a while. They found that right balance of high-tempo hectic that they always seemed capable of last year, but couldn't quite execute for multiple quarters at a time. Last year, we had issues putting MOAC teams to bed once we built a big lead. I can forgive it when it happens against Lima.

Three road wins in four days. There wasn't a streaming option for this game that I was aware of.
Shelby is looking for a home game on Wednesday. Otherwise, they are off for a week before their next two games against Wooster and Mansfield.

BTW, this is the second biggest losing margin in Galion history. Second only to a 58 point loss to Willard in 2006. The 44 point loss to Lucas is tied for 7th. Is Galion missing a guard? I think his name is Payne. Yes,he's been out since the second half of the RV game. He's their best player and only good ball handler. Getting him back will help, should be soon. |

Big challenge keeping up for Davey with all the postponed, cancels and reschedules going on. Davey does better than anyone else. I see Senior currently only as 13 games scheduled and haven't played one as yet. I wonder if their 4 transfers are wishing they hadn't.  |

11 players score for Ontario, 8 bench players play more minutes than the starters. Which is helpful since they have a "double weekend" in the middle of the week, with Highland coming to the O'rena tomorrow night.

Ontario 65, Highland 31 - Soph Gage Weaver, 1st Team All-Ohio in Soccer, led the Warriors with 16, Kurtz had 11, Shaver 0 for 6 on his 3 pointers had 6. Highland 16 and 16 at halftime, points and turnovers.

Wooster 50-36 after three. Shelby probably had more turnovers that quarter than shot attempts. Wooster plays very aggressive defense. Good team.
