Discussed Ohio State potential roster Guard - Meechie Johnson. Guard - Bruce Thorton. Forward - Justice Sueing. Forward - Seth Towns. Center - Zed Key.
Guard - Eugene Brown III. Guard - Roddy Gayle Jr. Center - Felix Okpara.
Not much size in this lineup.

Just named Florida’s POY, very underrated. Right now, I’d say Sensabaugh >>> Towns.

Hopefully Sensabaugh and Roddy Gayle can step in and shoot the ball, because not only is that group undersized but they are also BRICKLAYERS.

To start the season.
PG -Meechie Guard - Holden Forward - Sueing Forward - Towns Post - Key
With Sueing, and Towns healthy and transfer Holden I think the scoring can be replaced. Rebounding is another matter.

Thornton was most likely going to start over him.

NOW a PG through The Portal is a MUST, only one on the roster.

Thornton was most likely going to start over him. Obviously Meechie didn't think he could beat him out. He must have played against Thornton on the AAU circuit. OR he knew the Kansas State PG was favoring Ohio State.

Meechie just entered the portal. I wonder if he saw his role remaining the same with what was coming in. Playing about half a game coming off the bench. As a PG he had more turnovers than assists and played no defense. Was a not a strong rebounder for a guard.

5* PG Tyrese Hunter enters the portal.

John Diebler joins Thad Matta staff at Butler, along with Greg oden Correct me if I am wrong, but Diebler has never coached anywhere before. Oden was a glorified practice manager for OSU. Both may help with recruiting but nothing proven so far in earning a D1 college coaching position.

That seems on par with your logic on things

I was asking for a fact check that they have never held a coaching position, but have been hired on a division 1 college staff.

Typical, asking a question that he is already sure of the answer.

Pretty cut and dry there douche Nothing proven as a coach. I'm sorry your attitude keeps you from reading clearly. I have met both of them and they are good guys but my request for confirmation was that I have never seen them in a coaching atmosphere that warrants them being hired at the D1 college level. I am guessing you feel they are good D1 college coaches?

Jon has been with the NBA's Carolina team as an assistant in some kind of capacity for at least a year. Oden has been doing his job at OSU for probably 3-4 years I think.
Guessing Matta was picking guys he knows, trusts and has a comfort level with.

Seth Towns announces he is coming back next year. He turns 25 this year. Who knows what we’ll get out of him, injuries have just plagued him.

Sure appears there is still a little crack in the door, for a possible return of Malaki Branham. Wouldn't that change the estimations and equations for the coming year! Is the W.V. transfer guard, starter caliber?

Hopefully he’s quick enough to guard his man better than Aherns did .

Is the W.V. transfer guard, starter caliber? He started every game for WV last year. I saw a mock draft that had Branham going 10th. No way he is back
