Sure would like guardians to get a catcher who could hit his weight. Maybe include Miller in a package for anyone - addition by subtraction imo.

Good News is they aren't done yet and Tito and GM Chris Antonetti said they're looking for a Catcher. They have been tied to trading for A's Catcher Sean Murphy and been tied to Free agent Christian Vazquez. Will have to see what happens but a catcher is defiantly coming because Hedges and Maile are no longer on the roster and all they have is prospect Bo Naylor.

I’d love to see Murphy come to Cleveland but I don’t see it happening. Oakland is going to want way mate than what the front office will give up. I think they will resign Austin Hedges imo.

Murphy is off the board. Murphy has been traded to the Braves.

Looks like Hedges and Bo Naylor at catcher. Hopefully Naylor progresses quickly and Hedges can be the every 4th day backstop

Christian Vazquez just signed a 3yr deal with the Twins. So, he is off the board as well. Those are the only two names I really saw the Guardians tied to in reports. Bringing back hedges just seems like a cheap friendly Dolan deal lol.

Mike Zunino is your catcher Guardians just signed him. He was hurt last year but was an all-star in 2021. Still an underwhelming signing in my opinion. He has some pop to his bat but it's HR or bust. He is typically a career-low-average hitter.

Zunino is an excellent behind the plate, so there's some value here.

My question is now the Guardians have so many prospects that are within a 2-year window of making the Majors and they can't play them all. Especially in the middle infield, they can't prospect hoard forever. I wonder if a trade for a starting pitcher with like 2 years of control could be a possibility. A Bridge pitcher until someone like Gavin Williams, Daniel Espino, or Tanner Bibee is ready.

Cleveland Legend John Adams passed away at 71 years old today. His beat of the drum in the stadium's bleachers was connected to so many of our best memories at the ballpark over the years. He will be missed.

RIP John Adams. I saw some pictures of the funeral and Bob DiBiasio was a pallbearer.
