I believe doing the wrong thing keeps you out of games and not Judges.

Why bringing up a year that had like 3 seniors at end of season and when they were independent lol. It's a new year you're ignorant. Talking about the past cause pleasant is *** now.

First off I am impressed that you were able to recognize the year and team involved. Very astute on your part. Secondly I thought how many were in the school should not have any bearing on the team. How does only having 3 seniors have any bearing on the results of the season? As for your comment about me being ignorant I can only think that you have your head screwed up from what you have been smoking. So pleasant is *** now, what ever that is supposed to mean, only reflects on you and your lack of formal education. Short response is DRAFO.

First off I'm not sure why I'm getting sucked into this. I have always rooted for Harding in the past and supported Marion schools when playing others...but you say Pleasant has lost to the good team they have played. Which good teams has Harding beat then if Pleasant isn't any good? Pleasant may have lost to the good teams they have played but they have not lost to any of the bad teams. Can that be said for Harding

You might want to think about the attitude a touch. Harding is a provisional member of the MOAC and is up for a vote this year to confirm their membership. Burn too many bridges with perceived behavior and Harding might be playing itself on its new turf field. man and now we have threats about not staying in the MOAC.... im sorry Pleasant cant just run the league now that Harding and Alder and others have joined to give you actual competition... im actually sad to see Alder go id rather have a league with great teams then with a mix of ok teams.. you would think you guys would want a competitive league. I was actually impressed with Pleasants defense they just got wore down although i hope you guys dont run into a team that passes in the playoffs you will have trouble...

"not staying" is incorrect grammar. Not being voted in, would be the phrase you're looking for.

hardingmavman, For the 20 plus years that I have been following Pleasant football they have had poor pass defense. It almost seems as if they want the player to catch the pass before they do anything. However, I have to say that some of that may have been influenced by the rather inconsistent "pass interference" calls by officials through the years.

Here's my take on Harding, I don't mind them being in our league and being a Division 2 sized school. We are 1-1 against them. We were tied with them at half with a terrible team this year. It's not like they are killing everyone. Most of the games are close at half from what I've seen. Even in our game in the 2nd half, they sure didn't look like world beaters to me. Now if they were killing everyone like JA is, I might lean toward the argument of a "WTF". But they are just a good team that has a little speed on their team, they can definitely can be beat. Good team though, congratulations to them. I wish them the best in the playoffs if they make it there.

They are going to run into a team that passes the last game of the season. ha! Now if we can just contain their big offense, which we probably can't, but we are getting better. It's going to be a good game.

GT, Drew Pasteur's assessment of play off probabilities in D2 Reg 8
Not realistic contenders (<2%)
14. Marion Harding (4-4)

Mathematically, Harding could win out and still finish 16th in their region.

If the MOAC schools are really threatening to vote Harding out just because they are halfway decent again in football....that's very sad and juvenile. They knew what they were potentially getting into when they allowed Harding into the MOAC. This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.
Having Harding in the MOAC is a good thing for everyone involved. It keeps local rivalries alive and with Harding upgrading their football stadium...that would just be another notch in the belt of the MOAC.
In regards to the game Friday, yes Harding had WAY to many Personal Fouls. They need to clean that up going forward. BUT......Pleasant's admin needs to clean up what took place behind the west endzone. You simply cannot have fathers, teachers, and coaches yelling at the opposing team and pounding their chests when Harding got penalties. But it's plainly obvious they don't care to fix that so we can move on from it. Anyone who doesn't understand that that's a problem is looking through Spartan colored glasses
Lastly... anyone involved in the process of determining if Harding gets to stay in the MOAC that doesn't understand the benefits of having Harding in the MOAC needs to be removed from the process.

jedbartlet98, Please explain the benefits of Harding in the MOAC for the schools other than Harding. I think everyone understands how it benefits Harding, but please enlighten us as to how it benefits the other schools in the MOAC.

That's an easy answer and isn't arguable. It's great point chances for other schools if they can beat them. It's good competition against bigger school they could say for come tournament time. Geographically it's in a good area also. All good reasons.

The single biggest issue with having Harding in the league is the reputation of the MOAC will be negatively affected. Due to their MANY personal foul and unsportsmanlike penalties. Fair warning to Harding, the league could be keeping track of their technical fouls in basketball.
