Pleasant beat Wynford 3-1 last week and play at Highland this Thursday evening.

Yes, kicked off team at Harding. Will sit 5 games at pleasant. Ladd moved from pleasant to Harding prior. Will also sit 5 games.

Pleasant beat Highland last night in their scrimmage. Varsity played the first half and won 14-7. Second half was all JV and Freshman with Pleasant winning 14-8. Still some work to do to get to where we need to be but not a bad showing.

One week from tonight we should be almost at half time of the first game of the MOAC season.

BV looked pretty good vs Lexington. 1st string won half 14-0. They were without top RB and WR. QB can sling it

Watched Galion vs Shelby tonight (1 half of varsity). Score was 36-0 in that half if I recall right.

Shelby definitely looked more talented than Galion.

Galion made some nice plays. (TD called back by penalty, long pass called incomplete when received dropped after making "football moves")

On to Bucyrus.

Harding varsity beat Delaware Hayes 8-0 when varsity was pulled. Defense is tough will be the strength I believe. Offense had some good drives couldn't finish couple times. But pretty good scrimmage.

I was pretty impressed with Harding's quarterback considering he hasn't played the position much since eighth grade. He had some nice throws.

Agreed. He will be a weapon , was a true qb through out middle school, played 1 half against Lima senior and played good last year.

So it is what it is, a scrimmage against a much more talented team.

Bv up 17-7 on Hayes. Mt Vernon up 10-6 on Harding. Blocked punt td for Harding to end half. No offense all night.

Hayes beats bv. Harding wins on last second touchdown. It was ugly on offens but solid defensive game. And marysville beat JA I seen, for anyone who cares about the old Moac foe.

Harding beat Delaware Hayes in scrimmage and had a thrilling come from behind win over Mt.Vernon in week 1 that defense is very scrappy only allowing 3 total yards in second half but losing the "ankle bracelet kid to Pleasant has killed the run game if the offense comes together they won't be stopped I look for the River Valley game to be great

There isn't much of a run game. Ladd coming after week 5 will give them another option.

I don't see Ladd adding that much since last I heard he was working only at corner.

Smith brothers have been solid at corner. But just saying he will give them another option.

I stopped by HHS practice yesterday, the Ladd kid is running tailback/slot receiver on offense and olb/ss on defense. The smith brothers and a kid named fraker have the corner spots locked up. The Ladd kid is fast, I think faster than ankle bracelet. Not sure he has the vision and cut back ability though. Huge test Friday night. The QB is not good, great athlete but not a QB. Was told by a coach that he is going to Pitt this weekend on a visit as a db.

Noah will be fine at qb just has to get in the groove, he can sling it.
