There's a pretty cool app. Called ScoreStream, once you put your team in it will give score updates of all the local games in a fairly up to minute times. It's scores are updated by verified users at the games. found it a few weeks ago looking for live in game scores. No affiliations with it, just thought it was cool for local HS sports. Does all sports not just football too.

Harding played bad first half down 17-7 at half. Adjustments made won 21-7. Like the way they played. Ontario looked pretty good, should win some games. Bv seems to be legit too.

I wouldnt give Harding that much credit lol Ontario wasnt that good... And our offense is HORRID our defense scored two of our 3 tds... Our coaching is terrible we had 9 yards of offense in the first half... How do u like the way we played? Lol

Yeah the offense is pretty bad. Ontario isn't bad, took highland to OT I believe. Highland pretty solid. Defense came out and executed. I missed 8 mins of first though.

Harding won't blow out a team on its schedule because of the offense. Defense will pick them up a few times this year.

I like the uptempo that scoring drive in 3rd. I think that'll work well if they continue that. And injured qb or not Ontario couldn't do anything after half. They have a solid rb and #11 can flat out fly. He's gonna give some schools a problem.

Know it's still early, but Drew Pasteur has tabbed two teams from MOAC to make the play-offs. Clear Fork at 1 in Reg 14 D4 and Pleasant at 3 in Reg 18 D5.

I don't know of that will be the case that is 2 very high seeds. If BV is real I can see this changing the mix as well. I know the harding faithful will say that for a team that has only one loss hard to over look them as well.

All that Harding did in the 2nd half was in a 3 minutes stretch in the middle of the 3rd quarter, one a defense scored TD. The only scoring by both teams in the 2nd half.

You have not seen enough football. Kreger was not better than Hawkins. He'll make a good golf coach though, as long as he has good golfers. EXCUSE ME??? Did you play for Hawkins? Hell NO! He's had great talent and/or easy schedules his whole coaching career!! Darian Watkins, Charlie Frye??? Good luck getting athletes like that the next 5 years at Ontario, their junior high football is rough right now!! And if he was such a good coach he would stay at one school like Coach Balogh!!!!

Maybe you are right about Kreger, but same with Hawkins in football. He will make a good coach as long as he has good athletes/football players. Last year we lost by 20 pts. and he said it was bc we had character issues. He should stick to what he knows best going for young girls as a married man, and being an 70k gym teacher that doesn't have one gym class!! lol

Good luck getting athletes like that the next 5 years at Ontario, their junior high football is rough right now!! And if he was such a good coach he would stay at one school like Coach Balogh!!!! You're excused teenie. I played for a better coach than than the current head coach at Ontario. Ontario's current Soph QB is comparable to Watkins when he was a Soph, already a better passer than Watkins. You aren't old enough to have seen Watkins play much if any or know his sad story. You named 2 players who played for him at Willard and Galion. Takes more than 2 to win the games he did over the past dozen or so years. Who were the other 100 good players he HAD to have? We await your wisdom. Playing in the NOL isn't easy. Playing Wynford isn't easy. Playing JA, Pleasant and RV isn't easy. Clear Fork and Shelby joining the MOAC makes it a more difficult football conference. Ontario's Junior high programs have been "rough" for decades. The current coach's biggest challenge. H He didn't leave Willard, he left Galion ONLY because they never got him the job they promised him every year he was there. Balogh!!!! is a big reason Ontario hasn't done much in football the past 30 years, except when coach V was at Ontario. Do you even know who Coach V is and when he was the head coach at Ontario?? That's one of the problems. You and most everyone in and around the current program knows little if anything about the history of Ontario's football past. A perfect example of what Balogh!!!! has done for football. THE best athlete in the Freshman class this year, that class's QB and best hitter and pitcher in baseball. Starting this year is now concentrating solely on basketball and will play varsity basketball this year as a Freshman. That class won the NOL 8th grade Championship last year. None of the best players on that team play football. They work on their basketball skills during football. Which happens most years since Balogh!!! has been at Ontario. A BIG problem for the football coach, regardless of what his name is. You're to young to know much of anything, so I know you don't know that Balogh!!!! came real close to taking the Madison job, but they couldn't come close to matching the great teaching deal Balogh!!!! had/has. Do you have any idea how RARE it is for a head coach to coach for 30+ years these days, let alone 30+ years at the same school?? Name just ONE around here. You can't, you're wayyy toooo young. You DID have "character" issues last year. THE hardest thing to do when attempting to turn around a program is changing the culture. Changing the losing mindset. HUGE "character" issues in team sports. That "character" issue is still there. Good teams, when they have someone down by by 2 scores at half time, put their foot on their throat and choke the life out of them in the 2nd half. Balogh!!!! had to change those same "character" issues in his first few years. Do you know what Balogh!!!! makes? Do you know what he does not have to do? If you know what the football coach makes you SHOULD know what every school employee makes. NOTHING you say can be believed now or in the future. NOW you tell us that the Ontario football coach makes $10,000 LESS per year than you originally told us. You now tell us he has a completely DIFFERENT job than what you originally told us. Are you a prevaricator or a very bad exaggerator? Next you'll claim to be a school board member as the reason you know these falsehoods, rumors, innuendos.

For the record, I DID NOT bring up Hawkins on this thread.
I'm sorry Willard, but I am forced to now reply to several inaccuracies in your post.
1. Galion did have a job for him. Unfortunately Galion puts a cap on the level of experience pay that incoming teachers can receive. As a result Hawkins would have had to take a significant pay cut to accept the job.
2. Unfortunately Willard some of Ontario's games do end up on tv. To even attempt to compare Ontario's current starting qb to Watkins is an unfair comparison. Watkins was a freak of nature as an athlete. Already a better passer? Right. Please share with us all of the Big 10 recruiters that are already knocking down the door like they did with Watkins.

For the record NEITHER DID I. As a matter of fact I've never used his name, while you've blathered it all over this football forum in a hater fashion. Believing and quoting the inaccuracies of an immature teenager. You of all people should know better and be above that.
You SHOUD be sorry, your post used falsehoods again. According to Websters "several" means more than 2. I only see 2. And they're questionable.
This is the first time I've heard anyone say Galion DID have have a job for him. Did this newly heard of job offer exist every year? Another questionable statement on your part.
Watkins scholarship offer WAS NOT to play QB, the position he played in high school. I NEVER used the term "freak athlete" to describe Ontario's QB. Watkins was a WR playing QB. If my memory serves Watkins on occasions played WR and caught passes thrown to him by the 2nd string QB, to get him the ball in space. Ontario's QB IS a QB and similar in size to Watkins when he was a Soph. As a Soph Ontario's QB is a much better passer than Watkins was when he was a Soph. IMO "freak" is a stretch for Watkins, since he went to a low level Big Ten school. Top 10 programs get most of TRUE "freak" athletes. The next 15 get the rest of the TRUE "freaks". Braxton Miller was a TRUE freak athlete. So much so that he played QB in high school and QB at a Top Five program in college primarily due to his TRUE freakish running abilities.. PLEASE, since Watkins WAS NOT a QB, being a better passer than Watkins does not automatically get you an offer from a Big Ten school to play QB. Watkins NEVER would have played QB for a Big Ten school.
BTW, how long did Watkins attend the Big Ten school that he committed to? How much football did he play in college at ANY level? Maybe you aren't aware that it takes MUCH more than being a supposed "freak" athlete to play a sport in college.

Not everyone makes the correct choices to succeed in college Willard. By laying out the fact that Watkins EXCELLED at multiple positions on the football field only reinforces my argument. It's OK Willard I only worked with the kid so obviously your opinion should carry more weight than mine. I'm telling you straight up that he was one of the 2 best athletes I've ever worked/played with and the other one played in the NFL.
As far as the job goes, it was brought up on other threads before way back when he originally took the Ontario job. So either you're not reading/listening to all of the information available to you or you are just choosing to ignore it.

Instead you pivoted and talked about what a great athlete he was. Your continuous harangues about Ontario's football coach are tiresome. Yet you're closed mouthed about a player with issues. WHY?? He wasn't even good enough to play QB for Galion in the playoffs. The VAST majority of "freak athletes" make it through at least 3 years of college and get drafted. The schools do everything possible to help them make it through. If Watkins was as good as an NFL player, a "freak" athlete. Then why didn't SEC schools want him? Why didn't he go to Ohio State, Michigan, MSU, Penn State or Notre Dame? All of those schools want the "freak" athletes from the football factory that Ohio high school football is. Was he close to being as good as Braxton? If not he wasn't a REAL "freak" dual threat QB. If I recall correctly he was not ranked as a dual threat QB, only as an athlete. He was a very good runner, was a very good athlete, was not a very good QB, "freak" is a stretch. Sorry, all I recall was the talk of Galion not having a job for him. Maybe it was because I rarely read the MOAC forum when Ontario was in the NOL.

galion, I can confirm reading about a job offer at Galion schools to their previous football coach and him not accepting if that is what is being questioned. Although I never worked with the player you mention I was a witness to some of his athletic ability over years of area sports. He was the most gifted athlete with such a wide range of abilities that could have translated into him playing almost any sport and being successful.
