These gals play with determination and enthusiasm, to match their great athletic skills. Wish I could say the same for the men. Men have been a huge disappointment from day one. Poorly played and executed basketball, won't warrant my time, no matter what uniform they're wearing. They were 10-3 at one point and seconds away from beating #1 Purdue which is when the free fall occurred. To say they’ve been a disappointment from day 1 is a stretch. I don't disagree with that assessment, but early lightweights on their schedule, padded their record, till the Big Ten brought our failings to light. I was feeling pretty good, early on as well. Here's hoping the NIT can be a positive building block for assembling next years team.

I only watched parts via my phone and most of my attention was focused on wrestling. Clark is one of the best players in the country, requiring double teaming from all their opponents, but she is a narcissistic punk. Ohio State girls were suffering the after effects of being totally drained from the dramatic comback game the previos night. Good luck girls in the NCAA tourney!

Their full-court press was deadly amazing and an exciting spector to behold. When these gals emerged from their shooting funk and started hitting them, it allowed their press to be effective, that even a team like Indiana, that is very systematically composed and controlled, became panicky.
This team can play with anybody, when they shoot with accuracy. So good to see them look like the team we witnessed the first half of the season.

A lot of top players go to Gonzaga in the middle of nowhere in Washington, if Mark Few can get players to go there, a coach can get players to come to Columbus. I know he's had success so players want to play there but just speaking geographically. Look at the top 5 in basketball right now, only one is one I'd consider a college basketball "blue blood" and that's Arizona, and they haven't even really had huge success in a long time. Look at what Nate Oats has done at Alabama, they were never considered a top basketball school and now all of a sudden they're top 5 or 10 every year. It can be done. Speaking of Nate Oats, nothing to do with what we were talking about really but him and Alabama are in some deep Sh*T. Ex Bama player Darius Miles was charged with murder of a young 23 year old girl a few months ago and he was kicked off the team after this. Now it just comes to light that Alabama's best player and projected top 5 pick next year in the NBA draft Brandon Miller supplied the gun used in the murder, Miller also informed Miles that the loaded gun was in his car when he arrived on the scene, and Miller used his car to block the road where the victim was parked. Nate Oats said in a press conference recently "We knew about that. Can't control everything everybody does outside of practice. Nobody knew that was going to happen. College kids are out, Brandon hasn't been in any type of trouble nor is he in any type of trouble in this case. Wrong spot at the wrong time." What a wild thing to say for a coach in this situation. Miller should be suspended and Oats should be in consideration for being fired for his handling of this. That leaves one shaking their head. Doesn't get more serious than being an accessory to a brutal murder and a coach blows it off as "Wrong spot at the wrong time" That quote would certainly apply to the innocent, executed victim in this case

The Buckeyes Women are getting their moxy back and once again, playing with confidence they enjoyed earlier in the season. The Buckeyes came home with a win at Penn State 67-55, leading as much as 29 pts. 2nd half. The Buckeyes were led by Rikki Harris with 15 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists. The ladies are now 11-5 Big Ten, 21-5 overall and elevating their game at just the right time, with both tournaments looming in the near future. I didn't realize getting waxed by Indiana twice in two weeks(one by 24 points), losing to Maryland by 36, and unranked Purdue was "Getting their moxy back" and "elevating their game at just the right time". You are missing some of the facts that they were playing without the services of key players. Yes, they are getting their game back. Comparing the women's program to the trainwreck that is men's basketball is a terrrible injustice to this talented team of ladies. They have been a pleasure to watch all season, even through the bump in the road that is recent period of struggles. The good news is, you can't keep a team like this down for long. The B1G enjoys some of the best programs in the country and the tournament will be a fun and exciting time.

Not excusing anyone. Just for accuracy. Watson did not payoff all of his accusers. "Payoffs" are only accepted when the person accepting wants the "payoff". You say, Mixson "didn't payoff all the accusers". Which one or ones did he payoff? That's a convenient spin on things. "Payoffs are only accepted when the person accepting the 'bribe', wants it" Try.....when the money's good enough to swallow ones pride and accept the bribe. In Watson's case, it was six figures....to get all 21 of the accusers silence. I have zero respect for either of the individuals. Both are scumbags.

You don’t see Nick Chubb doing this nonsense. At least Cincinnati will be responsible and take care of the situation like most organizations should and release him if this for sure happened. Cleveland on the other hand would do nothing and welcome him back with open arms as long as it could help them win games. He didn't payoff all the accusers like sex offender Watson.

In sports, history seems to repeat itself in a pretty consistent fashion. With that in mind, a San Francisco upset and a Cincinnati win, would set-up a spectacle of 49ers vs. Bengals....chapter III. The Bengals would love nothing more than to avenge that hearbreaking loss, when they had the lead with mere seconds on the clock and Joe Montana hits Dwight Clark in the back of the endzone with 26 ticks on the clock, to steal the Super Bowl trophy from the arms of the Bengals. that matchup almost happened year. Didn't SF beat Dallas the same way? Montana hitting Clark back of end zone with leaping catch? They sure did!

It was difficult watching these Buckeyes mumble & fumble through this game with Indiana. A team should not be playing this poorly, at this point in the season. Indiana and Ohio State were stark contrasts to one another. The Hoosiers appear to have a team chemistry, understand the nuances of the game and play with confidence and focus.

10 WINS IN A ROW, the longest winning streak in the NFL and still, there are doubters and those that use every means to diminish their accomplishments.

Expect Chad Henne to ultimately, take over the quarterbacking. Mahome's a real gamer, but a high ankle sprain takes about a month to recover from it's effects. In Mahome's case, it is his right foot, not good for a right handed QB. Besides limiting scrambling abilities, it has an impact on throwing mechanics, for medium to deep tosses, since it requires a solid plant and pushoff of that right foot, so he has to rely on sheer arm strength. He can get away with it on the short, swing passes, bubble screens etc., but deep throws can result in underthrown balls and the Bengal secondary will be totally aware of that and fully prepared to feast on underthrown tosses. Any word on Mahomes or is that being kept quiet to everyone outside KC. Patrick Mahomes will play, but how well? In terms of what we can expect to see from Mahomes come Sunday, it’s quite likely that there will have to be some adjustments made. Indeed, what’s all but certain is that the Chiefs man in the middle will be working with reduced mobility. Perhaps the best take on what we’re going to see against the Bengals, comes from ESPN’s report: “Mahomes’ creativity and ability to make off-schedule throws are a large part of what makes him the player he is, but the Chiefs would likely make Mahomes a pocket passer, as they did in the second half against the Jaguars. He threw no passes from outside the pocket after returning to the game for the start of the second half. That’s only the second time this season Mahomes went for a half without making an outside the pocket throw. Mahomes threw more passes from outside the pocket (113) than any other quarterback during the regular season and was tied for second with seven touchdown passes. One thing we know for sure, Mahomes is far less likely to break contain, making the Bengals defensive front that more dangerous.

It was great to get Hilton back for Buffalo, although Jackson played really well in his absence. This Bengal defense is formidable and doesn't get the credit it deserves. Going back to shutting out Tampa and Tom Brady, through 3 quarters and only allowing one of the most explosive offenses in the endzone one time and holding the Bills to only 10 points is remarkable, but like the team, the defense never gets it's just do.

Bengals are -1.5 point favorites over Kansas. Come on Las Vegas. That has to be due to the uncertainty of Mahomes. Kansas was favored over the Bengals, the last three times we bested them. The Bengals won all three, because they contained Mahomes as well as any team they played.

It was hard to watch, amazing he was able to hobble on it.
A dominant performance by the Bengals, on the Bills home turf. Jackson Carman showed why he was a 1st rounder. He got a couple pancakes and dominated his man on the D-line. The coaches finally got him back to his natural position, where he excelled at Clemson. This decimated OL, played their ***** off, allowing only one sack and only one holding call.
The offense came out smokin and had completions to 8 different recivers in the 1st quarter alone.
Time to make Mahomes and Kansas 0-4 vs. the Bengals.

Despite his spirited resolve to be ready to go vs. the Bengals, I don't expect Patrick Mahomes to be a factor in this game. High ankle sprains take a long time to heal and can linger on for a significant amount of time. It's his right ankle, he throws right handed, consequently, that is his plant foot on his throws. The ankle will effect his scrambling abilities and it will also affect his throws, especially the medium to long distance range. I fully expect Chad Henne will get the bulk of the snaps.

It is now recognized, the Bengals have an offense that puts fear in the opposition. Not the end of the story, their defense is pretty damn good and up to the task, no matter who the team might be on the other side of the ball. This the definition of a complete football team.

A dominating performance, beginning to end. A makeshift OL, minus both Offensive tackles and a guard, does the improbable and dominates the Buffalo defensive front, while only allowing one sack all night. 30 1st downs to 18, need not say more.
