Despite not having the services of two of the top players, Madison Greene and Jacy Sheldon, the OSU Buckeye women continue to make history. They are now 17-0 and ranked #3 in the country.

If Kyle McCord earns a starting spot, or Devin Brown, or a transfer portal QB yet to announce. I have this gut feeling, the QB position may be one of great surprise for Buckeye fans. Ryan Day WILL NOT take a QB out of The Portal this year, unless McCord or Brown leaves and he needs an experienced back up. McCord and Brown are as good or better than anyone in The Portal. Probably true. The few minutes we've seen McCord on the field this year, he was less than impressive. But then again, we probably were saying the same thing about Joe Burrow at one point....right?

No concern, they play to the level of competition. Most importantly they got the 'W', making it 8 consecutive wins (best in the NFL) So is the NFL going to give Cincinnati a night game next week or will the NFL give the blah 1 PM game? Good question....... Baltimore @ Cincinnati Sunday, January 15th. Gametime is 8:15 PMPlaying an opponent back to back is more common than one would think. The Bills & the Patriots did it last year.

No concern, they play to the level of competition and I don't think they played horribly, they well enough to win. Most importantly they got the 'W', making it 8 consecutive wins (best in the NFL) I think Zac will have everybody kicking it up a notch or two, for the rematch.

Today will be the first Bengal game I've missed this season. They are airing Tampa vs. Atlanta down here....yawn The big point of interest will be, how far into the game do they pull Burrow, Chase, Higgins, Mixon etc. I'm expecting 3 quarters out of them.

I'm hoping for the return of Sam Hubbard this Sunday. Eli Apple is questionable, but this team is getting back, closer to full health at just the right time. They will be without their stqrting right tackle for the playoffs, but they have an adequate replacement. Just hope they get through the Ravens game without further injuries. If they have things at hand 2nd half, I expect key substitutions, perhaps by both teams.

WF, First I'd heard about the Peyton Hillis act of heroism and yes, I will pray for him. Thank you for sharing this information. I will look up the story. BTW, absolutely no 'hate for the human race', just hope for the human race.

Bills and Bengals factory of sadness. 0-7 in super bowls. Actually, just the opposite. To be perrenial Super Bowl candidates is pretty exciting and hopefully, one of the two will win it this year. Unfortunately, with the Bills/Bengals cancellation, the Bills can no longer get the #1 seed and Bengals can no longer achieve the #1 seed as well, or the #2 seed, but will be playing for the #3 seed. Only in the NFL, can you have a losing record, win a division, over a really bad collection of teams and earn a home game playoff opener.

You want to talk about compassion, how about the time Browns fans knocked out a Steelers fan in the bathroom and then fans were peeing on him as the guy was knocked out. That’s compassion right there. Don't think the Steelers and Browns fans have 'evolved'.....lol Some of the nastiest and most vile comments come from both sides, still. Never forget, throwing batteries and whiskey bottles at the opposing team. from a drunken Dawg Pound? This went well beyond mere bad sportsmanship and entered the realm of felonious criminality. There have been several incidents of opposing fans being beaten by that ugly crowd, since. In fairness to the Browns organization, they addressed the abhorrent situation and have that section on a tight leash.

^I thought it was Coach Wyche? Boy, that's going way back. He was one of my favorites, for his offensive innovativeness. The 'sugar huddle' didn't permit defenses to change and get off the field, quite clever.

For some unkown reason, there appears to be a degree of jealousy coming from you. The Buffalo Bills and their fan base don't see things as you do. Again, let me reiterate, Cincinnati Bengal fans have every reason to be very proud of our team and the fans in attendance that Monday evening. To diminish things in any way, is unfair to everyone involved.
Most importantly, we should be so happy for the Hamlin family, with his progress toward full recovery.

That was my intent Pointing out the silliness that only the Bengals could show this much compassion. Silliness? Nobody implied that ONLY the Bengals could show such compassion. Those are your words. The Bengals sight is overloaded with thank you's from Bill's fans and people from Buffalo, saying almost universally.....Cincy is a class act and thank you.

Fact of the matter is, the Browns, Niners, Ravens, Steelers or whoever, have nothing to do with this situation, other than there is a certain brotherhood among all players in the NFL. There has been a massive, out pouring of love and appreciation expressed from Bills fans, towards the Bengals, many of whom have adopted as their second team. One thing is for certain, there will be an eternal bond between these two teams, from this point on. LOL...SO, myself a Browns fan is incapable of showing as much compassion as a Bengals fan??? It's a rather moot question. Fact of the matter, this near tragedy happened in Cincinnati, in Paul Brown stadium and the fan's were amazing, as well as the entire city. Leave it at that.

I can't imagine, there is any way this game can be resumed, under any circumstances, unless they push the playoffs back one week and schedule the resumption and completion of this game in a special week time frame, with no other games. Two of the top AFC teams going head to head is going to greatly influence seeding. The only action I can see from the NFL is vacate this game and go on winning percentages etc.
It would be so fitting, to see the Bills vs. Bengals in the AFC Championship game. Could I suggest setting the clock at the end of the 1st quarter, with the Bengals up 7-3? Errrrrr.....nope!

Maybe the Bengals should show the ultimate compassion and award a win in the game to Buffalo instead of finishing the game... Normally you are a man of reason and insightful intellect, but this one is uncharacterisic sarcasm, that leaves me laughing.

Not perhaps, positively. Surely you're not suggesting that Cincinnati is the only city in the country that can show compassion and love in the time of near tragedy. I am certain that any team's captains would do what Taylor and Burrow did. From my experience not everyone in Cincy always shows their "love" at all times. Certainly not. Again, very proud of the team and fans, with their outpouring of love and compassion through this traumatic turn of events, from a long anticipated matchup of two outstanding football teams, lost in a moments loss of a heartbeat.

You would see that in any game between any 2 NFL teams. There is a brotherhood when a member is close to death on the field of play Perhaps, but I can't imagine anyplace offering more love and support, than what was universally expressed that fateful evening. The NFL game, quite often is ugly and brutal, quite often devoid of civility and the fans leave one shaking our heads at times. Hundreds of letters from Bills fans, thanking everyone for the love and compassion expressed in Paul Brown stadium that evening, has established an eternal bond between the Bills & Bengals and their fans as well. Just learned that Joe Burrow, the Bengal team captains and Zach Taylor paid an unexpected visit to the Bills locker room afterwards, to offer their support.

Never been prouder of the Bengals organization, the team and the fans. They are a class act. Everyone is praying for a full recovery for Damar Hamlin I am a friend of Micah Hyde, who Damar has replaced while Micah goes through a season of rehab. Damar is very much like Micah in many respects, as he has been very active off the field, helping those less fortunate. What goes around comes around and this is our moment to give on his behalf. As if these two fan bases already weren’t close, I think these two are forever connected at the hip and have each other’s back. Not many fan bases can say that about another one. Both of these organizations handled this about as good as possible considering no one had ever been through that. Saw a lot of consoling and hugging between the two teams and Joe Burrow coming over and consoling & hugging Josh Allen, the same for Zach Taylor greeting and consoling Shawn McDermott. I agree, though they will be strong competitors, there is tremendous mutual respect for one another and a bond that will never be broken.

Possibly neither. I've been hearing rumblings of someone of high caliber and significance, destined for the Buckeyes via the transfer portal. You never know and always be prepared for surprises. Elite programs like Ohio State are a natural gravitational destination. I literally can’t think of any QB that is returning next year in college football that I would want, other than maybe Caleb Williams but he ain’t leaving USC. It’ll be one of our current QB’s. I am incredibly proud of my Buckeyes today! They played a complete game last evening and proved why they were the #2 ranked team in the country most all of the season. The terrible 'no targeting' call by the officials was abhorrent. Leading with the helmet into the MH Jr's neck region, could have caused paralysis or even worse. A correct ruling would have been game changing, at that critical point in the game.
