The #2 ranked Ohio State Women, look to extend their 19 game winning streak Monday night at 7pm vs. #10 ranked Iowa Hawkeyes. The game will be on BTN. Hopefully, it will be the first game back for the guard sensation Jacey Sheldon.

The Nations #2 ranked Buckeyes defeated Northwestern 84-54 to up their record to 19-0 and 9-0 conference. The Buckeye women had 4 players scoring in double figures and came away with 21 steals, 2 below their season average.
Ohio State has excelled on both ends of the floor. Offensively, the Buckeyes rank sixth among all Division I women’s basketball teams with 86.4 points scored per game. Defensively, the Buckeyes have forced 23.3 turnovers per game – the fifth-most in the country – in large part because of how frequently and effectively they’ve run the full-court press.
The Buckeyes face the biggest challenge of their record breaking season, as they take on two teams (Iowa and Indiana) ranked in the top ten. The good news is team leader Jacey Sheldon, is near fully recovered from her foot injury and slated to return to the lineup very soon.

Both Buffalo Bills wide receiver Jamison Crowder and all-pro safety Micah Hyde have been taken off IR and are practicing with the team. There is a high likelihood one or both will get the start vs. the Bengals.

I've been hearing rumblings that Micah Hyde could make his return this week, or subsequent games, if they advance. As you know, Damar Hamlin came off the bench to replace Micah, when he sustained his neck injury. No doubt, Buffalo took a hit in the secondary and a starting CB may be out this week, after taking a shot last week.

The Bengals lost another OL starter. They have lost three starters in the last month, RT, RG and now the LT. Offensively, they went very conservative 2nd half, with a lot of running plays. Great to see former Buckeyes lighting it up in this game....Joe Burrow, Sam Hubbard and J.K. Dobbins all made highlight films. And once again the off-season top priority will be the O-line. I just seen Williams has a dislocated kneecap which more then likely has ended his season. I hope this off-season then can finally put together a solid group on the line. Williams just hasn’t worked out since they drafted him and now Collins is a huge liability who’s not getting any younger Suddenly, there is a glimmer of hope with the OL situation. The team has declared Williams and Cappa are on a week to week status. Williams dislocated his kneecap very early in the season and recovered and returned to the lineup. Cappa has a sprained ankle and depends on his rate of healing. If they can get by Buffalo, things look a bit more promising. As far as the draft is concerned, you can never have enough depth at this key position. The OL played very well this year and had the most continuous snaps as a unit, than any other OL in the NFL, this year.

What the hell was the Vikings thinking? 4th and 8, the game on the line and they throw a 3 yard pass play that had no chance of getting the 1st down? ?

Wilson was definitely involved in the play calling, everyone knows that. Involved YES. Play caller? Not on Ryan Day's watch. Wilson was the chief suggestor. My experience is, the OC sends in the plays and the head coach (Ryan Day) monitors and enjoys the ability to alter or change any play coming through his headset. Everything comes through him, not necessarily initiated by him. The sideline is not a good perspective of the defensive set, the press box is and Ryan Day understands this.

The heart of the defense is Tommy Eichenberg, if he decides to stick, that would be huge. He announced maybe a month ago. As I suspected, he's coming baaaaaack! And yes, it is huge for the defense.

The appearance of Lamar Jackson Sunday seems increasingly unlikely and Tyler Huntley has been absent from practices as well. Tee Higgins is dealing with a type of hip pointer injury. Will play, but in pain. So it’s either Huntley or Brown again. Also I see where Harbaugh said his team played a clean game last week like they always do. Can’t wait till Sunday. A game filled with late hits and cheap shots. It was obvious what they were trying to achieve. The N.Y. Jets played equally dirty, earlier in the year. What's more amazing, the game officials looking the other way.

Ya gotta help with this one. I swear I read a story of a 5th year tackle out of Washington State transferring to OSU. I tried to pull it up, but to no avail. Not that I’m aware of, so far only a DB from Syracuse. I did get it right about this kid and at the time we were fairly certain he would become a Buckeye: The Buckeyes miss out on another transfer portal OT target. Washington State transfer tackle Jarrett Kingston has signed with USC over Ohio State,

The O-line is one area that Ryan Day is utilizing the transfer portal to solidify & bolster. Not quite, they’ve actually struck out on most in the portal so far, including one today that just committed to USC over Ohio State. The portal hasn’t been their friend on the o-line yet. Michigan fans still want to say TCU is a solid team? HAHA I think they still are. Tonight, no one was denying UGA Very lame statement. We now know, TCU was grossly over-rated. The best team in America after the playoffs, Georgia.....by an eyelash. Not taking anything from the National Champions, but their equal is the Ohio State Buckeyes, the 2nd best team in America. A missed FG from being National Champions. Two teams embarrassed themselves in the playoffs and we all know who they are.

Alex Cappa done for the playoffs. That sucks. Huge part of the team and had a great season. I guess the off-season will once again be addressing the offensive line. It's bad news to lose the starting right Guard, but the good news is, he injured his left ankle and not a season ending knee injury. This means, the Bengals will be playing with the right side of the OL being backups, with the season ending knee injury to R/T La’el Collins, two weeks ago. Hopefully, they can get past this game and get Cappa back for the round two game.

Been hoping to get Jacy Sheldon back. She has been out like 13 weeks and she is a phenominal defender, averaging something in the range of 6-7 steals a game, before she went down, with an ankle injury. Madison Greene, another great playmaker is out for the season with a knee injury. (must be that artificial turf) Besides the lack of depth, the men are relatively inexperienced and have played remarkably well, considering how green they are. not 13 weeks she's played in 5 games this season. The first 5 games and the math adds up, they've played 17 games. The source is the OSU womens BB facebook page. Either way, a long time to be sidelined.
