It was an enjoyable game last night. This was the first time I had been to Northmor since the last time Pleasant played them in 2012. As was our custom, my friend and I met up in the parking lot at the old school, got our tickerts and proceeded around the end of the field to the "visitors" bleachers. What we didn't know was that the new K-12 school complex had been completed. With the parking area at the new school the "visitors" bleachers became the home side. It was a change being on the opponents side, but it was an enjoyable game. Last night the enthusiasm of the Northmor fans, in my opinion, reflected what winning can do for the supporters/followers of a team. Again, an enjoyable game and now I hope next week will be played somewhere not too distant from here. An added incentive for week 12 is that Fort Frye was the team that defeated Northmor last year in their first experience at "playing in November". Pay back maybe?

Just a reminder, the schools get a cut of the ticket cost if the ticket is purchased at the school pre-game.

Something I would like to see when the initial pairings are released is a listing of those schools that are on the facility list for 2nd and subsequent games in the playoffs.

Glad to see the Friday/Saturday game schedule back. That gives me a chance to get over to Northmor Friday and then Oak Harbor Saturday.

As the lights go out and the crowd leaves we bid adieu to North Union and Buckeye Valley as they depart the MOAC. I wish them both fair winds and following seas.

East Knox has defeated 7 teams so far this season, problem is together they only have 8 wins. Bad for L2 points.

As the season comes to a close, Northmor, Division 6 Region 23, will play week 11. They may have a home game. Highland should be playing week 11 in Division 4 Region 14. A possible opponent is Clear Fork, of the MOAC.

As the witching hour nears for high school football teams the MOAC looks to have three teams playing in week 11. Clear Fork will open with a home game in Division 4 Region 14. A possible opponent is Highland of the KMAC. Pleasant, in Division 5 Region 18 needs to win and they are in. They will be on the road. North Union, in Division 5 Region 18 needs help to assure themselves of a play-off berth.

The end of a disappointing season for the Presidents. Look for the second "running clock" of the year to be put on Harding. The really sad thing about that is that both will have been at home.

^^^^ Forgot about West Jeff. Liberty Benton was bad also. Even having moved up to D4 in 2007, I have always felt that had Van Meter made that FG just before halftime the outcome may have been different. Pleasant may not have won, but up against several D1 players, Pleasant acquitted themselves quite well. That trip to Canton as well as 2001 and 2002 were great ways to end a season. One all the way, one runner-up and the other final 4.

Ranks right there with Columbus Academy at Worthington Kilbourne in 2003 and last year Pemberville Eastwood at Lima Senior as one of the three worst games I have seen Pleasant play in over 20 plus years.

Heard that North Union's game with Clear Fork was much the same as last night. Came to the 4th quarter close and then imploded. I think that had they stuck with their game plan last night the score would have been closer. In the 4th Pleasant got more pressure on the QB and he seemed a bit unnerved by it. Don't look past Harding, as you never know which team will show up for them. Galion on the road should be the only game to challenge you the rest pf the way. Good luck through the play-offs.

Eagles nest "Harding is a missed tackle and 5 getting beat deep from being 3-0. 3 vs Alder and 2 vs Newark. Hopefully the coaches have corrected their defensive backfield. The offense will need to stop sputtering also they have been inside the 30 15 times, inside the 20 10 times and only have 28pts to show for it."
Seems they have not been able to follow your advice.

Find out Friday. One thing going for North Union is that Pleasant nearly always plays poorly on homecoming night for some reason.
