Congratulations to the Generals. Although not my preseason pick to win the conference I am happy for the season they have had. Will miss Dagley next year, he is a special player.

Looks like West Holmes' seed is going to come down the Salem @ West Branch game, which Salem currently leads 8-7 early.
If West Branch wins, West Holmes will be the 6th seed and travel to Medina Buckeye. If Salem wins, West Holmes will be the 7th seed and travel to Chagrin Falls Kenston.

Quite a run by Lex to finish their year. I was a bit surprised by their score against Sandusky.

Quite a run by Lex to finish their year. I was a bit surprised by their score against Sandusky. Quite a run indeed. Did you not think Sandusky was very good or did you think Lexington was better? It would appear that since the Sadnusky team is not 100% healthy and all able to play their defense has become their major strength. Not giving up more than 2 scores a game since week 10 while their offense is clicking for them.

I simply thought Lex was better. But, Stewart's ko return, plus Lex became TO happy, sealed that game quick

I simply thought Lex was better. But, Stewart's ko return, plus Lex became TO happy, sealed that game quick Lexington had played some good football to get to week 12 but they were never a team that could turn the ball over with points and still be in the game. The TO Gods favored them in week 11 but not in week 12.

Is there any doubt that Dylan Dagley is POY -offense and Cade Stover is POY - defense ??

Rightfully so. One of the hardest working kids I’ve seen and takes nothing for granted. Good story small town country kid making it big. Can’t wait to see him play in the shoe on Saturdays. Over 170 tackles and 1400 some yards on the ground. Elite

Lexington's Cade Stover is the 2018 MR Football for Ohio Well deserved, for reasons off the field as well as on. A HUGE honor. Of the 32 Mr. Football winners, only three others played defense in college. Charles Woodson, Andy Katzenmoyer and Dante Booker. That makes the award just that more special for Cade.

Don't the head coaches of every team get to select one of their own players for all conference honorable mention? That would be a surprise.
