Today's the the day, biggest week in moac football possibly of the year. Got Harding biggest game In 15 years +. Battle for first there. Got pleasant and BV looking to stay in 2/3rd, galion gonna try to pull the upset on a not so good rv team. NU looking to get back in the win column. Gonna be a great night of football great weather expected! Idk if I buy that anything in the red 1st-6th is "not so good" at the moment. My opinion could change after this week. Now if your comparing RV to the past few seasons then I would totally agree with that.

Galion @ River Valley Jonathan Alder @ Marion Harding Fairbanks @ North Union Buckeye Valley @ Pleasant
For some reason, odds makers usually give the home team an advantage.

Those home teams look good for this weekend.

I didn't say rv not as good. As they have been that is. Beat by a NU team that's been shutout last 2 weeks. And gave up 27 to Fairbanks I believe

MOAC Red This year .....
JA and Harding, a notch above everyone else. Galion and Fairbanks, a notch below everyone else. Everyone else, on any given night can beat everyone else, depends on who shows up that night.

I will wait and see what they manage to do against JA before I say they are a cut above. But by your logic I think many BV fans feel that given a 2nd shot against JA they could beat them.

Harding losing by a Td to Lima proves a lot to me. Cause Lima would beat anyone in the moac. Tonight should be good. Alder has one of there top players out I believe. Should be good

Unfortunately BV won't get another shot at JA as we are out of the MOAC after this season. This JA fan believes that if BV was given another shot, BV would still go down :-)

This BV fan believes that if given 10 shots, BV would probably win 2. I'm anxious to see the outcome of the Harding-Alder game tonight. I think Alder wins, but I would not be shocked in the least to see Harding win especially with the game being in Marion.

Oooohh! I'm excited. Galion (I'm being told.) had a good week of practice. Like you said beautiful weather tonight, it's going to be a perfect night for football. I'll be watching the scores. 1..to see how bad JA beats Harding and 2. To see how Pleasant does. That team is decent. My Tigers are going to shock the world.....right!!! LOL It is a rivalry game though I'm being told. GO TIGERS!!!! man and ive been nice to you LOL... Good luck against River Valley!

7-7 at half at pleasant. Pleasant outplayed BV in the first half but failed to take advantage of redzone opportunities.

Harding simply out played, game plan and play calling was bad. Turnovers killed us. Couldn't stop the run.

And I'm guessing bv just didn't show up against pleasant , cause they had it close against JA.

28-7 Pleasant final. BV not showing much interest in playing football right now. My guess is they don't win another game.
Pleasant didn't really impress me much. As bad as BV was tonight, this had no business being a game beyond the first quarter, but the Spartans couldn't put them away even though they had opportunities.

Terrible effort tonight from Harding they just seemed to give up after half.. things got tough and they quit coaches included...think they put too much pressure on themselves for this game. Turnovers were the story your not going to beat a experienced team like Alder turning it over 3 of your first 4 possessions...

As bad as BV was tonight, this had no business being a game beyond the first quarter, but the Spartans couldn't put them away even though they had opportunities. Pleasant had the same problem with River Valley and North Union. In all three games played nearly the entire first half in the opponents half of the field but the score certainly did not reflect that.

Not sure I understand how Pleasant wins 28-7 and its because BV just didn't show up but another team loses by 21 and its because they beat themselves. Pleasant may not be impressing some but they are finding ways to win even when not playing their best at times

Did you watch BV tonight? Props to Pleasant for taking care of business, but if you think that was any kind of impressive performance, you're nuts. With a few exceptions, BV might as well have stayed on the bus. Kids were walking off the field, arguing in the huddle, very questionable coaching decisions, complete disorganization at times, linemen just getting outright beat on the first step. Does that paint an accurate picture f how bad the barons were tonight? And this was still a game going into the fourth quarter. A good team would have put a team like BV away early tonight not let them stick around. Pleasant may finish up at 9-1 or 8-2 but that is a reflection of the overall weakness of the moac this year rather than them being a really good team.

Bv did something whether bad match up bad play calling or something. Not sure. Bv competed with JA more than pleasant and Harding. Which maybe they matched up the best. Who knows

4, it was lack of heart and desire coupled with some very questionable coaching decisions imo. Leadership is very lacking on this team.

I think pleasant finishes 8-2 only losses to JA and pleasant which I'm sure that gets them in playoffs. There's 3 or 4 decent teams in moac. JA is the alpha.

No body is saying Pleasant is a really good team but I think they had a little something to do with the win. They did not play a perfect game at all buy still came away with the win. You hear a lot about how Pleasant is always going to lose and when they win it has nothing to do with what they did. Pleasant's defense has been playing great this year.

I've credited there defense before it is good they are very good tackling. Looking forward to that next week. With hardings speed against them. It'll be another good one.

Look I picked pleasant to win based on the concerns I've had for BV this entire season. I'm just giving an honest assessments of both teams. Nothing pleasant did caused the things I listed above. Now, I'll give pleasant all the credit in the world for NOT having the same issues. Their kids were fired up and played with energy the whole night, something BV couldn't or wouldn't match. Seriously, I quit counting the number of tackles that BV missed for no other reason than not having the desire to make the effort.

BV has had excellent athletes for a very very long time now, but never a coaching staff to help maximize their potential.
