Just thought the kid deserved an award somewhere. Had good numbers in a new defense to him. And had big games on both sides of the ball. Lots of kids on other teams deserving too. Agree to disagree on the Booker kid. Very undisciplined and selfish, gave up big plays vs River Valley and Alder. There was a reason Pleasant didn't care to keep him.

Yeah because he didn't have a couple sacks, 2 forced fumbles, couple tfls and a pass break up and about 10 tackles against pleasant. He could have started on there d line easily lol.

Can knock on him for being undisciplined or whatever but only personal fouls were just celebration I believe. Nothing crazy. But what suprised me most was Abrams not making 1st team district. Over 150 tackles I think a moac record.

So would he replace Creeger or Robinson both were 1st team all league both mentioned at the district one the POY on D... Both had the same # of sacs or more and neither was a distraction for their team.
He wasn't even a every down starter till the pleasant game so how would he beat out those 2 when he couldn't beat anyone out at harding till someone got hurt?
FYI yes he played a great game against Pleasant but from what I have heard it was the only game he showed up...

He can also play olb, but he played really good against d1 Newark, well against NU, Fairbanks and Galion. And mount Vernon. I didn't miss a game this year. He had 3 games or so he wasn't a big factor. But I won't continue on this subject. He's a good player for only being a sophomore. I know Robinson and he is a good player too. A little undersized. Him an booker stats about the same. I'm off to a week 12 game.

No offers yet, just division III teams want him. (Of course they can't offer an athletic scholarship. LOL) The teams that are interested: Baldwin Wallace, Otterbein, Ohio Northern, Muskingum (never heard of that college). We visited Findlay last Saturday for a game. They said they will bring him in to throw in January. That might have been just a line, no clue. Ohio Dominican has expressed interest in him before. We are going down today for a game day visit. That should be a good game against Ashland. So we will wait and see if he gets offered anything. Chase isn't in the best position to be in: low ACT scores, still low GPA (its rising but man the deficit he had to overcome from 9th and 10th grades in Crestline (His own darn fault) and being hurt for those 3 games in the season. He will be lucky to get any kind of athletic scholarship. (Yes, I do know division III teams can put together pretty good packages under the veil of "academic" scholarships.) Though I was actually hoping for a Division II scholarship, at this point he will be happy with anything.

Sayre is waiting till after baseball season to decide. He has some d3 options for baseball and football. I thought Jefferson was d2 talent hback. But I'm not sure. Maybe he's looking to track. Or waiting till after track.

Nah sayre is all d3. Because of his size in football. And baseball he never focused on getting recruited till now. I think could play d2 baseball just fine.

Just read that Galion's Connor Moreton kicked 3 field goals including a 40 trader and 34 yarder as well as an extra point in the South's 24-20 win in the North/South All Star Game played last night at Arlin Field in Mansfield. Moreton scored 10 points in total. He is headed to Miami University in the fall.

He had a strong foot last night with a little breeze at his back. The halftime kicking contest had 2 underclassmen making kicks from 50 and 55 yds.
