^^ I agree with that and I think it's a blessing for all the Morrow/Knox schools when it comes to attendance and money. I'm definitely not trying to make it sound like when Highland was throwing their weight around that it was not for selfish reasons because I think it was. I just think the $$$ were more of the motivator than being a big fish in a small pond was.

I have always felt the stronger leagues are the ones within a county or 2 at the most. To much travel can bring in temptations for other possibilities.

It very much depends on the teams you beat and their records as much as it does anything else. If you play a weak schedule and win but the teams you play are .500 and below it will hurt you playoff chance. As was the case in the NCC who had 1 consistently good football school. Harding is sitting at 5-4 in the 13th spot and mathematically still in the hunt for the playoffs. My guess is if you would do the math, had Harding beat JA and get a win over RV, they are a playoff team at 7-3. Mainly because 4 of their 7 wins would be against schools that had winning records and gave them 2nd level points. To your point and Harding's problem going forward. JA will no longer be there for a potential win. A "weak schedule" in your league is out of your hands. The non-league schedule is controllable. Scheduling non-league teams with winning records will help garner Harbins points only IF you can beat those teams. Another scheduling issue out of your hands is if the schools in your league will win or not win their non-league games for 2nd level points.

Those were funny to read lol. Galion was hyped up a bit, Harding picked torward middle to bottom. JA expected to run away with it easily haha. I wasn't a member on there, no clue it existed.

That is why I never make predictions. 90% of the time I end up with egg on my face. And I don't like eggs.

In all honesty had I known Pleasant was planning to get back to some older familiar concepts of theirs on offense, I probably would have thought differently. At the end of the day, Pleasant faithful, I underestimated your team BIG TIME and have to say I'm impressed with what the Pandas have done so far this season.

As one coach told his team this year "Don't underestimate that senior class those kids have won at every level". No superstars just hard working blue collar kids.

Stanley, Pandas? Boy are you ever dating yourself. Played the Pandas in basketball years ago when Stan Kirby was their coach. Checking the OHSAA site, it was as I feared...even before Pleasant played football!!!.

I was at the RV-MH game first half. RV run game was nice against Harding not so good defense, yes. I thought RV would have to go to the air, to have a chance to beat Harding, they never needed to. RV ran at will 1st half. and 3rd Qtr. 9 minute drive. And, RV could have scored again at the end. As they were on the 4 yd line and let the clock expire. Fun to watch these games this year. Pleasant beats RV 28-7. And looses to Harding 42-21. I watched the Pleasant Harding game too. And, I believe Harding played their best at Pleasant. Winning the Turnovers 4-1 (Hardings Turnover came on 4th and 6 and Pleasant picked and ran back to line of scrimmage and didn't hurt MH). Also that game Harding scored on 4th and 6, and 4th and 17 against Pleasant when they needed to. (Pleasant called time out at end and MH scored with seconds to go). Harding Boys still 0 Conference Titles in the MOAC in Season 3. Fairbanks has at least 2.

Highland beats Mt Gilead 49-7 to win the Blue outright. The game was never close as Highland completely dominated from start to finish. Jonah Barnett I believe broke the century mark in the second half on a 70 yard run. Aside from that he had no room to go anywhere as Highland did a nice job of containing him. Jared Limings from Highland was probably around the 250 yard mark for the night and multiple touchdowns. I understand that these two guys are the top RB in the Blue division but if I had a vote for player of the year it goes to Limings.

Little early, Looking like JA, RV, Pleasant are in. Centerburg in, And Cardington probably getting nudged out by Ready. NU lost to BV tonight or probably would have been in. Highland hanging by a thread, probably finish just short also.

You're correct. Hardings 1st boys moac championship won't come till basketball this year. Best of luck to rv in playoffs. Harding penalties and muffed punt hurt bad but rv ran the ball down there throats. Harding only getting stops in 2nd half.

Kind of ran with an old school mentality, he wanted to be physical and nobody tackled him without paying a price for it. He ran angry!

I don't think Joe has updated region 14 quite yet, but if my math is correct Highland is going to finish 9th and miss the 8 seed to Ben Logan by about 0.3 points
