Wait till tomorrow to get some of these figured out. Paper jumped the gun on many of these because not all the scores are reported yet.

Marion star is saying JA and rv, I wanna see that rematch with Pugh playing. I think rv will be defeated but that's a good set up for round 1.

NU not in, finishing 9th. They didn't show up to play at BV. They only lose 6 seniors, and really only 5 got playing time. The fact they went 6-4 with that team was more than what was expected. JV did great this year and we have a great core of juniors, see you next year!

It would appear that if Shroder beats Thurgood Marshall tonight that Pleasant will be going to Milan Edison, however, if Thurgood Marshall beats Shroder (which is what I would predict) Pleasant will get to take a trip to a familiar 2007 foe in Pemberville Eastwood.

If I was Pleasant I'd definitely be pulling for Thurgood Marshall.

Past results don't guarantee future success, but...
2014 Pleasant 49 Eastwood 28
2008 Pleasant 20 Eastwood 7
2007 Pleasant 21 Eastwood 12

If I was Pleasant I'd definitely be pulling for Thurgood Marshall. Neither team is any easier. Edison is very tough team. You know what you will get in eastwood Wing t run it down your throat football. Edision is more of an unknown to me

That's exactly what you get out of Edison too. They absolutely just steamrolled Galion and others with that running attack last year on their way to the final 4.

I was at the RV-MH game first half. RV run game was nice against Harding not so good defense, yes. I thought RV would have to go to the air, to have a chance to beat Harding, they never needed to. RV ran at will 1st half. and 3rd Qtr. 9 minute drive. And, RV could have scored again at the end. As they were on the 4 yd line and let the clock expire. Fun to watch these games this year. Pleasant beats RV 28-7. And looses to Harding 42-21. I watched the Pleasant Harding game too. And, I believe Harding played their best at Pleasant. Winning the Turnovers 4-1 (Hardings Turnover came on 4th and 6 and Pleasant picked and ran back to line of scrimmage and didn't hurt MH). Also that game Harding scored on 4th and 6, and 4th and 17 against Pleasant when they needed to. (Pleasant called time out at end and MH scored with seconds to go). Harding Boys still 0 Conference Titles in the MOAC in Season 3. Fairbanks has at least 2. Yeah the big bad Marion Harding that everyone is concerned with. Harding is not the team of the mid 90's. With all those boys in the school they should be good, NOT, the fact is every athlete in the system is playing. They don't have this magical number of athletic kids not playing sports. Marion City has fallen on some tough times and parents want to give their kids the easy way out and take them to the RV's and the Pleasants of the world. To watch the RV/Harding game and see 6 kids that live in Marion city start for RV really sucks. Kids do not transfer to Harding for Sports, they transfer for the academic curriculum, singer programs and the Band. Which I admit the band is dam good. So Harding is right where it needs to be in the MOAC. They may have more boys in the system but they are better off carrying a tuba not a football. Athlete for athlete I would compare anyone in the MOAC to Harding. Its a very even league across the board and cant wait to see what the future brings. Also in football Harding has only been in 2 years.

Lets see if we can get the topic more civil... Name your all league players.
I realize some of this will be hard with out stats on every kid but heck is a board where we talk about things we have zero control over. RED 1st team QB Sayer MH RB Pugh JA RB Spears RV WR Santillan BV WR Jefferson MH Ath Craycraft PL K Galion kicker (forget name) Sorry to the fans of the OL but its hard to know every player unless you are a coach.
Fairbanks WR Beem maybe a toss up?

I'm guessing sayre, Pugh, spears, Jefferson and kicker are locks for first team offense, 1st team defense Abrams-mh , fry-rv santillian-bv booker-mh and maybe Thompson-mh, middlesworth for Harding might get first team. I'm not sure of o lines either. Left a lot of defense out too. Just some picks I thought would be in forsure.

Fairbanks WR Beem maybe a toss up? Don't disagree with any of those, except maybe Craycraft on offense. Warner put up big numbers, but I would still go with Sayre based on success of the team. I would put Pugh at Athlete (He was on 1st team defense and offense last year). I also think Dye should be considered as a 1st teamer. As for defense, No brainer for Fry (River Valley) and Abrams (MH) based on the tackles. Blacka for Alder has had a great year, should have good stats. Maynard and Fooce for JA were 2nd teamers last year, had similar years if not better, both may have a shot to get 1st team. Seems like based on where you finish as a team in the league determines the amount for your team getting in. May not be factual but seems like it.

Oh it has a lot to do with where you finish.
I don't think there is a POY like there is in Bball is there? Coach of the year? Cook? 3-7 to 8-2 and playoffs. JA coach 9-1 2nd league title? RV for the turn around at the end of the year?

Keep in mind the league does not break it down by position. there is 12 on O and 12 on D and the break down is a little weird at times.

Rib1- LOL, Im not concened with MH, I have said for Years and Years. Oh, lets go back 30 years. 1986 MH was 0-31 in Football and Basketball. MH would not have their share of Conference titles, as a Pleasant or River Valley. And I am glad Marion Harding is in the MOAC. Nice League, Goodbye to JA, and Welcome Ontario, and Clearfork. Clearfork, has had some good Wrestling, Baseball, Basketball, And Football (back a few years) teams in recent years. Clear Fork is Down in Football and they lost this year 42-39 to a Decent 6-4 Mansfield Sr. Pleasant did played Clear Fork in the OSHAA preseason game and dominated. I like adding these 2 teams. Hate to see JA go though (especially since the well will be dry in Football for a while).

Harding hasnt been good since early 2000s late 90s it's going in a good direction. And the basketball team is definitely going in a positive direction.
