I would be shocked to see a close game in that one. Unless fouls play a part and Upper cannot go full court

Upper was able to do just about anything and everything it wanted to in this game. Hit nine 3-pointers. Five players scored in double figures. Leading scorer was a bench player.

The Royals match up better with Upper. Upper doesn't have the height of Crawford. Crall will have his way with Upper’s smaller line-up. Crall will need a little help vs Crawford due to their overall team height. Over the past two games Wynford (due to Mohr’s continued excellent coaching) have started to develop additional scorers. If these couple players can continue their scoring, and Crall gets his normal 25+ then the Royals should easily protect their home court on 12/20 vs Sheldon’s Eagles. [br Ummmmmm.... 91-58.. ?

Wynford shares first place in the Northern 10 Athletic Conference and carries a four game winning streak into a meeting with rival Colonel Crawford at the “House of Thrills” on Friday night. Coach Mohr says “This will be our toughest league game so far. Crawford has a lot going for them. They are the most talented team in the league. They are the must athletic team in the league. They are the most experienced team in the league. Physically they are the most imposing team in the league. You put those four things together and that is a pretty good basketball team. Mohr says “We are happy we are 4-1. I feel good about the fact that we are 4-1 and feel good about the improvement we have made.” Think he might have to rethink that...

And no sign of the Royal now that the game has been played. Maybe his medication has finally kicked in or his son did not score his normal 4 points and he feels embarrassed.

The Royals got “Homered” at home by the same refs that had the Willard vs Margaretta game. Crall only got to the foul line a few times and he was mugged the entire game. Upper got all the calls their way and the Royals got no calls. Wow 91-58. Crall gets 12 of his 24 in 4th quarter vs Uppers JVs. Not sure he should have even been in, supposedly playing hurt. The “Dean” coach Mohr said the following after the game. “Upper is the) real deal,” Mohr said. “Even when I wasn’t in coaching, I always loved watching Upper Sandusky play. I love the way they play on the defensive end. I love the way they move the basketball. They are a clinic.” “Upper was just very good tonight,” Mohr said. “Guys who really haven’t shot the ball for them made 3s tonight. I can’t speak highly enough on how they play. They’re deep and their defensive pressure is so intense and, if you don’t take care of the basketball, their defense turns into their offense.” crawfordcountynow.com/sports/upper-sandusky-scoring-balance-upends-wynford/

Im guessing the refs had literally zero to do with the outcome

Wynford has only won 1 league title since Rob Sheldon retired 17 years ago. Getting rid of Ontario did not solve the problem.

I see that Crall is scoring 26 a game but does anyone have stats on his shooting?

Real showdown for the league lead tonight at the barn. I have my ideas as to how the second matchup will play out. Hopefully no pre or post game drama tonight like last year at Upper. And handshakes are abundant 😎😎😎

And handshakes are abundant 😎😎😎 How do you you think it will play out bigox? I expect a game much like the 1st matchup. Lower scoring. I’m not sure CC will be able to outscore upper so a slower paced game would favor CC. Upper firing on all cylinders right now and would be a mild upset if CC would win on upper’s home floor. Upper has more weapons than CC but the eagles will be ready to play. CC is now 2 and 9 vs Upper since start of n-10.

Which team sets the tempo? Can CCCC effectively defend the arc and score inside and the opposite for Upper? The past has shown us Upper's style is vulnerable to a poor shooting night during the season, is it tonight? Does tonight's winner secure the POY and COY? All questions waiting to be answered.

Still, winning at the "BARN" will be a tall task for CC. To compound things for CC, they have Carey the next night. The odds are stacked against CC to come out of this weekend on top of the N10 no matter how you look at it. But if they do, your last question will be answered.

My thoughts are Upper by 10. The posts for Upper have to have a big game and if the golfer has as good a night shooting as he did against Wynford. That's 4 weapons to stop, hard to guard. Although if it's a slugfest Crawford has the toughest team there. Mccreary will probably force a lot of shots and passes and try to steal everything under the sun.

Ummmm well..... never mind. That was a blowout! Upper wins in a blowout 69-40. Game was over about 5 minutes in. CC had to call 3 timeouts in the span of 3:10 in the 1st quarter. Rams connected on 13 3-pointers; they've made 40 in the last 4 games.

Why is it that everyone in the N-10 undervalues what Upper is? OR is it they overvalue their teams? Me thinks the latter.

Good enough to stomp the N10 yearly but not good enough to make deep tournament runs. Many teams two in particular thought they could hang with them this year. Overvaluation that they were going to be able to slow down and grind out a win. This year should mark the end of Uppers complete dominance for a while as this class of seniors is pretty special.

They say it is hard for a leopard to change their spots. In this case, from what I have witnessed, both CCCC and Upper are running teams that take quick shots and rely on high shot counts. So for CCCC to try and play a slower game and slow down Upper is not beneficial to them and what they have been working on for years. Upper is just the better team this season and the other N10 schools will settle for trying to get 2nd place.
