Right on. I read the interview with OH Report founder. He worked for WMFD and he wanted to dabble in video on the side and they fired him for it. OH Report is going to get bigger and bigger. Jeff Alan is about all WMF d has left imo. Brian had a few great ideas in motion while at the Ontario station and shows that attracted an audience. Now he is getting some of their sponsorship and doing good things with it. |

Ashland will scrimmage North Canton Friday at 6. Still no word if they have found someone to play week 1.

Ashland will scrimmage North Canton Friday at 6. Still no word if they have found someone to play week 1. Looks like Madison will scrimmage Clear Fork Friday at 7 and Lexington is scrimmaging Lucas on Sat at noon. The Mansfield schedule shows them playing St Francis DeSales in Week 2. |

Now that Mansfield has filled their schedule, Ashland is the only OCC team not to have a full schedule. Sometime I wonder how Ashland gets by with their AD.

Ashland only picked up that game because North Olmsted had 1 player test positive and now the entire team is in quarantine for 14 days. And North Olmsted was supposed to play Berea Midpark in week 1. I fear this is going to happen quite often this season. |

Enough BS..it’s been a long few months but it looks like game week is here. Any one have any insight on the OCC teams this year? I know Ashland needs to replace the QB, but bring back almost the whole offensive line, with a few two year starters in the group. Second year under Coach Seder’s offense my guess you will see the run game be featured a little more this year then normal. The wild card for the arrrows will be the defense. They completely overhauled the defense last year and it didn’t produce. They bring back a good amount a starters, but if this team wants to win, it’s going to start with better defense. Just hopping we can get in as many games as possible this year and everyone stays healthy!

From what I heard Madison lost to Clearfork 13-6 but left some points on the board due to penalties. Also heard they would have had a defensive TD but it was called dead due to being a scrimmage. Seems like Madison could be much improved this year. Week 1 will be their toughest regular season game so we will see where they're at right out of the gates.

I wouldn't fret. The Shelby vs Ontario game is not being streamed either. I think every game in Richland County is under a lightning delay presently (source: Twitter). It should kick up as soon as the game starts.

Nice win the the Arrows over D1 Barea Midpark 19-18. Good way to start the season. Defense really stepped up in the second half.

I was surprised at the west Holmes-Mansfield sr score.is it that west Holmes is better what we thought or Mansfield sr is worse than we thought.at least Mansfield sr don’t have to play Norwalk this coming week thanks to change of schedules

Mansfield graduated a lot of talent and dealt with, some shutdown time. Not taking anything away from West Holmes but this 2020 Mansfield team Is not the same as the 2019 team.

That loss has to hurt for Mansfield. Now you turn around and play an even better team this week. I thought this team would still be pretty good, but when your starting a freshman at center and left tackle on your O line, it’s going to take some time to get things going. Only thing that is in Mansfield favor this year is everyone makes the playoffs. Just have to get better each week.

With everyone making the playoffs a first game loss can hurt a lot less than in most years. Checking the Mansfield stats they had some good areas. Most were on offense including the QB who had good numbers. Defense needs to improve fast.

Has the OHSAA said how they are seeding the playoffs yet? The last info said they would wait until schools confirmed they wanted in the playoffs, then the OHSAA would divide the teams into regions for this year. Once they had the regions the coaches would vote on a seeding. They may use something like other sports use. Then the high seeded team would be the host site possibly thru regional. |

Watched some of the Lexington Mount Vernon game. Hard to tell how good either team is, but Mount Vernon’s defense stood out. They have some really good athletes. Should be a good game this week with Mount Vernon visiting Ashland.

What I don't understand is Lex had a player test positive. Lucas scrimmaged Lex, due to that Lucas had 3 starters that had to sit out against Clear Fork. But Lex had no players that had to quarantine and Mt.Vernon had no problem playing Lex.

We heard Lucas and Lex each have 3 players out. At least 1 from each team are starters but most were back ups.
