A complaint was filed before the season started as the 3rd QB in a row left Ontario for Senior. This time they obviously didn't get the better of the two returning. A neighbor reported recent children activities at the house the family moved from in Ontario, even though the family moved to an apartment in Mansfield before the season started. So as not to be affected by the transfer Bylaw on open enrolling. So OHSAA is that far behind that it took them nearly 2 months to investigate an eligibility issue that you claim was reported prior to the start of the season? Seems likely someone tried to punish the poor kid as you say activity was just recently noticed at the "old house".

We can all get a good laugh when adults cry and complain about an athlete leaving their district when they benefit so much from the same action of others moving in.

The OHSAA has no investigative department. SO...I know for a fact(not "claim") that before the season started a concern was reported to the OHSAA over QBs transferring from Ontario to Senior. I know for a fact(not "claim") that during the season a report was made to the OHSAA about children activities at the home that was left for an apartment in Mansfield. "Seems like" you should read OHSAA Bylaws on transfers and the responsibilities of all parties involved. A I've said, I won't go into any more detail on here. You can PM me if you wish.

No one is "crying" over a 2nd string Junior. There are laws, rules and bylaws that all members of our society are expected to follow.

^ and it also looks like that was Madison's last game of the year. I don't blame them for not scheduling another game after that, as this was their "Super Bowl" and winning it is a nice way end the season.

End on that feeling of success and move on to winter sports with some bragging rights.

Would really like a rematch of West Holmes and Ashland next week, but both teams have tough games this week.

Anyone know if Ashland and Wooster will finish out the season this Friday? Looking at the Wooster schedule they do have Ashland on it for Nov 6 It looks like it is a go. Good way to end the season. An Ashland win would put the OCC in a three tie, a Wooster win, and they win it outright.

Regardless, it could be a fun way to spend Friday night.

I know last Friday is not what they wanted, and most years you don't get a second chance. This team has a ton of seniors that will be playing their last game. I hope Hartley can play, if he can I like Ashland, if he can't they will need to find some offense. When Hartley is 100% Ashland is hard to beat, its to bad he has been banged up the second half of the year.

calpreps.com: Wooster 28 Ashland 17 Houseworth's: Wooster by 11
Wooster is looking for their 3rd straight outright OCC title. As it stands they have already clinched a share of their 4th straight title, and 6th in 7 seasons.
If Ashland wins will West Holmes officially get a share of the title as well?
5-0 Wooster 4-1 Ashland 4-1 West Holmes (no game against Mount Vernon) 3-2 Mount Vernon (no game against West Holmes) 2-4 Mansfield 1-5 Lexington 1-5 Madison

It sounds like according to the paper that West Holmes contacted Mount Vernon to play this week and Mount Vernon said no. If that is the case you cant really hold that against WH.

I wouldn't hold it against anyone only seeing the fact that a team finished with less wins. In the NFL would that be considered a 1/2 game behind?
