Btw, great call to go for 2 by Nasonti in 2003. IIRC, after Ashland went up 7 in OT, Bellevue scored in one play on a tough completion where Ashland got called for pass interference, and the penalty was half the distance to the goal on the try, which certainly helped with that decision to go for it (though knowing Nasonti he was probably going to go for it either way.)

I want mt Vernon kicked out of league. There was no reason why they couldn’t have played 1 more game. I think it was because they have winning season without loss to west Holmes Be careful, some people want West Holmes kicked out of the league.

Dude you don’t want to give west Holmes credit for sharing OCC title. Why because we have one less win than Ashland and Wooster why because mt Vernon was afraid to play west Holmes. So yes west Holmes is the smallest school in the league and if mt Vernon the biggest school in the league is afraid to play them which was a conference game already than they should go find another league

I'm not avoiding credit to anyone. I only said they finished a game behind. Many large schools have bad football and many smaller schools have good football. Have you ever spoken to anyone who tells stories of the football power Mt Vernon is? Print your shirts and hang your banner.

I actually think mt. Vernon will go back to league in central Ohio. But even if that doesn’t happen I would like to add 2 and go to 10 Dover and Louisville both need leagues

So why would 5 of the 8 vote to add schools that are over an hour bus ride away? West Holmes voted down the idea of Shelby saying it was an unacceptable distance. Shelby to West Holmes is closer than Louisville or Dover to a majority of the OCC schools.

They have an opening with Loudonville leaving for the KMAC in football. Is WH too big for that league?

I think Loudonville was a smaller school in comparison to the schools in the PAC7. West Holmes could be a good fit in regards to their enrollment.

PAC doesn’t have opening they filled it with canton south. If you think about it west Holmes has 3 shared football titles in last 9 years that’s actually pretty good for being the smallest in the league.

So during that time frame that you listed the OCC has awarded about 90 sports champion titles and you feel good about sharing 3? I have heard a few similar remarks about Lexington winning 12 of the 16 All-Sports Awards being one of the smaller schools in the league the entire time. Very few.

Dude is more concerned with Cross Country and Tennis. You try to make a joke but it was those sports that gave some MOAC schools a reason to vote against Lex joining our league.
