How did Shelby fair in the first scrimmage and who was it against? Wynford and Sandusky Perkins. No idea about the outcome. It was 1/2 field scrimmage with ball at the 40 each set of 10 plays. Each play was ran from the 40. I think Shelby scored every possession against Wynford. Perkins was more of an even test. Really no ‘keeping score’. |

I saw some of Wynford at Northmor last night and Northmor took them to the shed. Wynford may not be much of a measuring stick this year.

Pleasant lost to Garfield in the first half 21-0. Spartans did nothing but throw 2 INT’s in first half. Offense looked bad. Defense wasn’t much better. On to week 1 vs. NU. Should be a good game. Look for Pleasant to win by two scores over NU. Not sure NU is good this year. Will update second half when finished.

Tiffin Columbian 27 Galion 7 for the half of play.
Got there late and it started pouring when we arrived so we stayed in the car and didn’t see it. TC is probably the toughest opponent they will see all year. It will get easier to start but the MOAC will be tough, top to bottom. Looking forward to getting it started!!!

Is that a Galion specific thing, or the WMFD area? Interesting they go away from the surcharge they put on games last year. I thought it was a fair deal, but I'll take my free lunch if they are handing it out.

I can understand canceling school. Most places can’t find subs. Why are we canceling outdoor activities? Spread outside is essentially zero.
95% of COVID deaths are in 50+ year olds. Almost all of them have two additional risk factors. Most have a least four. If you are over 50 and at risk vaccinate yourself and you significantly reduce your risk of hospitalization and death. Otherwise we should be living life as usual. It’s that simple.
